Let This Life Prepare You For the Next

A mere little girl not more than fifteen

Being embraced by pain and agony

As well as ease and serenity.

Sailed a ship through life's oceans

Walked bare feet on the flat lands

Have had dreams unfulfilled

And nights spent sleepless .

With trials after trials

calmed herself that the reward would be double..

Don't ever think hardships are only in the oceans of marriage,

No! It comes with the beginning of your youth

From the time you breathed your first

Till the time that you'll breathe your last

From your baby little cradle

To your bare lonely grave..

Trial upon trial though it being light upon light

Struggling through life

But also knowing that Jannah,

Is definitely worth every struggle.

Peace did she feel when she knew,

That these very trials were out of mere love

A trial that Allah puts her way

Just to keep her away from that fateful day.

Hearing the screams of Jahannam

He saves her from it, coz of the pains she's already faced

Reserving Jannah for her, due to her undying perseverance.

Just know dear li'l soul,

That your ease is much more than your hardships

But you don't even realize it

Coz in Jannah you will have eternal peace

Where not even a fly would dare disturb you

Know that with every tribulation

Your rank in Jannah is only risen..

Live through this life like a mere stranger

For this is not your home,

But only a stop at the station

Your real home is nothing but Jannah..

Earn not much for this world

But earn the best you could for the next..

Life can be a challenge

Go through it, and win it with excellence..

Coz your real freedom awaits you

The moment you step into Jannah,

And you hear the call;

سلام عليكم طبتم فادخلوها خالدين

"peace be upon you! You have done well, so enter here to abide therein forever"

As per Allah's promise in the Qur'an [39:73]

Keep building your Jannah

While keeping you tongue moist with His remembrance

And you know what my li'l dear?!

Knowing Allah loves me keeps my heart at rest

And I'm sure it would keep yours too..

Collect your coins of rewards in this world

Hoping you wouldn't go bankrupt in the next

Book the ticket for Jannah

Coz you never know when your flight would be

Just prepare yourself for it's arrival

Coz it would come upon you without your knowledge

You'll have to take a flight, like it or not

But your destination is up to you

Whether it be Jannah or Jahannam

But may we get a direct flight to Jannah

Without any transit at mahshar

Under His Arsh may we re-unite

And under the trees of Jannah may we have our gatherings

Remembering the silly times we had in dhunya

The trials not meaning much any more

When you know your joy in Jannah knows no bounds

You'd wish your life was much more difficult

Such that your rank would have been much higher

But Allah is the best of planners

And He knows what's best for us all

Know that your life is much easier,

Than someone else's out there

And be grateful for each passing second

Coz you are from amongst Allah's chosen ones..
