I've slipped up bad

I feel like I've slipped up,
Slipped up into a nutty shell
Which only me gnawing into it
Would let me break free. 

I feel like I've slipped up,
Slipped up into that person
Ive hated the most
My entire life.

I feel like I've slipped up,
Slipped up into the old me
The Me i hate and
have hated from the very beginning.

I feel like I've slipped up
Slipped up into the darkness
That haunts me day n night
Darkness that keeps envelopping me.

I feel like I've slipped up,
Slipped up into being the target
Of mental and physical abuse
That creeps the hella out of my skins.

I feel like I've slipped up,
Slipped up into the same weak n feeble me
The Me that doesnt know how to rise anymore
The Me who cant stay strong within.

I feel like I've slipped up,
Slipped up to those lonely nights
Where my pillows have become my partners
With tear stained patches covering it when dawn breaks.

I feel like I've slipped up,
Slipped up back to that person id never wanna be
I came out of it with great difficulty
I never wanted to be pushed back there again.

I feel like I've slipped up
Slipped up away from love
Mutual love that binds people together
Love that shan't destroy my very being.

I feel like I've slipped up,
Slipped up into dangerous waters
I've never tested them all my life
And only God knows how It'd be.

Oh my Lord,
Hear this whisper of a plea
Take me outa this darkness
And fill my life with light from you.

Let me only rise higher,
From the hurdles you put my way..
The road maight be bumpy
But please Oh my Lord help me ace it with grace..

Not like i get a whole lotta reads and votes, but writing and posting it up here does make me feel good..
