The Ink Of Her Emotions

The past is in the past

I know we've had a rocky past,

But please dont judge us based on that.

We've just broken the shackles of the past,

And regained hope for a brighter future.

Dont push us back in the dungeon,

And demean us to such an extent.

We may have been in a messy cage for way too long,

Scared to fly out, lest you'll cast us there back again.

But maybe if we were to fly,

You'll be able to see the real beauty that lies within.

Coz we all have to first try,

To fly up so high.

Your help is all we need,

To rise and soar above the world and beyond.

A chance is all we ask,

To prove ourselves as the better we.

They say: "Allah tests those He loves",

But it's also tough to go through the same everyday.

It may also be a punishment,

For that we ask forgiveness from our Lord Most Forgiving.

Whoever fears Allah,

There's always a way out from every trial.

We just hope Allah makes things better,

If not now, then atleast in the life after next.
