Jisung had never been to a nightclub before. He'd turned eighteen two years ago but a nightclub was never a thing he'd wanted to try. He'd also never drank or had a partner and he felt nervous every time he left the house. He felt like the most uncool rapper on Earth, if he could even call himself that. The music was blaring in Jisung's ears as he stepped into the club after having to provide his ID to the bouncer outside. Coloured lights were flashing all over the room, tones of red, yellow and orange until they swiftly changed to different shades of blue; navy, baby, royal. Jisung didn't feel comfortable when he saw all of the people on the dance floor but Felix looked at home, leading him towards the quieter bar which was at the far end of the club.
"What's your poison?" Felix asked once they were situated in the barstools, Jisung sitting on a blue chair while Felix was on a red one. They were plastic and looked tacky but Jisung didn't expect anything extravagant from the town they lived in.
"Oh, um....beer?"
Felix let out a laugh, "what are you, a middle-aged dad? Come on, do some shots with me!"
Jisung gnawed at his bottom lip as he thought over the offer. He was certain he didn't have a high tolerance to alcohol and being drunk could have been dangerous, especially considering he didn't know how to get home or anyone around him, only Felix but he barely knew him either. Jisung decided to agree to the offer though, thinking he wouldn't be affected by just one or two shots. Besides, he'd heard alcohol calmed your nerves.
Before he knew it, Felix had already convinced him to down five shots of something strong. The nightclub started to fill up with more and more people and when Jisung spun around to have a look, he quickly turned back to the bar with a horrified look on his face, but it wasn't because of the crowd, he's barely noticed that.
"What's wrong?" Felix chuckled.
"He's behind me!" Jisung whispered, grabbing another shot and downing it, "across the room."
Felix turned to see who Jisung was talking about. They were in a quieter part of the nightclub with fewer people and Felix only saw two people behind Jisung. They were at least a few meters away, sitting in one of the booths with an alcoholic drink in one of the person's hands and what looked like water in the others, but it could have been vodka. Felix recognised the people, CB67 and Lee Know. CB67 who had won a rap battle against his best friend that night and Lee Know who he hadn't seen rapping in years but could still recognise because he looked no different.
"CB67 or Lee Know?" Felix asked
"CB67!"
"Did you...piss him off or something? Why do you look so nervous?"
"I'm a really big fan," Jisung admitted, "He got me into rap and I've looked up to him since I was fifteen!"
A vaguely amused grin was displayed on Felix's face as he watched Jisung continue his starstruck panic. His hands reached for another one of the shots and Felix cocked his eyebrow as he watched Jisung throw it back with none of the hesitation that he'd previously had. "Ok, buddy, slow down there," Felix laughed, taking the second shot glass that Jisung had picked up out of his hand, "I don't want to be carrying you home, that won't be fun for either of us."
"He's so handsome-" Jisung babbled, only vaguely aware of the words that were leaving his mouth, "and he's so talented. Oh my god, he's in the same room as me! Well, he was at The Underground too but...he's right there!" He blabbered, turning to look at Chan again before squeaking and turning back to the bar.
Felix was laughing at this point, "you really like him, huh?"
"Yes!"
"Well, don't tell Changbin I told you this but...he is a big fan of CB67 too, or at least he was before he got popular himself. I still think he's a fan though. I think that might be why he looked so disheartened after losing tonight."
