Changbin's room was full of light when he opened his eyes the following morning, or at least he thought it was morning until he looked at the alarm clock on his bedside table and saw it was 2:20 pm. At this time, he decided it was better to stay in bed for the rest of the day instead of getting up. His head was pounding from drinking too much when he got home last night and his face was still sore from where he'd been punched. He was pretty sure he looked the worst he had in a while. He would have stayed in bed, that is if Felix hadn't pulled open the curtains and was now standing in front of Changbin with his arms crossed over his chest, tapping his foot against the floor.
Changbin didn't know when Felix had arrived at his house but he didn't care. Instead of giving the younger what he wanted by getting up, he gripped the edge of his duvet and pulled it over his head, turning over and facing the wall.
Felix let out a sigh and said, "are you going to lie there all day?"
"Yes."
Changbin made no other attempt to speak or even move. He was almost back asleep when he felt the duvet being cruelly torn away from him, exposing him to the cold bite of his room and the blinding sun that reflected through the window.
"No, no, Felix, no!" He started to whine and made a grabbing action towards the duvet that Felix had dumped at the end of the bed. His eyes remained closed and he couldn't feel the duvet anywhere as he felt around. He groaned and covered his face with his exposed arms instead. All he was wearing was his underwear but Felix wasn't phased by the sight, he'd been around Changbin for sixteen years now and was used to seeing him in any state. "Felix, please..." he pouted, opening his eyes to send Felix the saddest look he could muster up.
Felix remained as cold as stone as he stared down at Changbin. When Felix didn't give him the duvet back, Changbin glared at him and reached for it himself, soon feeling the warmth cover his body again. He reclosed his eyes, smiling to himself. This time Felix didn't take it away, instead, he sat down on the edge of the bed next to Changbin and commanded him to, "drink this."
Changbin opened his eyes to see a glass of water in Felix's left hand and paracetamol in his right. He sighed, sounding almost fed up but still complying with what Felix asked him to do. He sat up and took the glass of water from him, taking a gulp and swallowing the pill. A second later he was lying down again.
"Hey, we're not done yet," Felix stated. He reached towards the bedside table, picked up a plate and put it down next to Changbin, who had reopened his eyes to see a cheese sandwich in front of his face. "Eat."
"Not hungry," Changbin mumbled like a child.
"I don't care, you haven't eaten since yesterday so eat."
Changbin scoffed, "God, you're bossy today." He was wide awake now so there was no use in trying to get another few minutes in. He pushed himself into a seating position and took a bite of the sandwich. Seeing Felix crack a small smile as he did so made the task less gruelling than it previously seemed. "Any more orders for me, sir?" Changbin teased once he had finished eating and placed the plate back on his bedside table.
"Not yet but I need to do something so stay there," Felix said as he jumped off Changbin's bed and left the room. He returned a moment later with a cloth and a bowl of water in his hands then sat back down in front of Changbin, closer this time. Felix dipped the cloth in the water and then proceeded to gently dab Changbin's face with it. "You still have blood on your face," Felix explained, noticing Changbin's confusion. He dabbed at his lips, under his eyes, his cheek and his nose which made Changbin wonder how fucked up his face was.
"Do I look a mess?" He asked.
Felix smiled, "a little but it's hot." Once he had finished cleaning up Changbin's face, he gave Changbin another order, "now get dressed, we're going out."
