Jisung didn't think he'd ever seen Chan quite as stressed as he saw him that Saturday morning. It was the first time Yena was visiting their house and when Chan got up at five in the morning to start vigorously cleaning, Jisung couldn't understand why. It was just gone seven when Jisung properly woke up and usually, he would have slept a lot later, but all he could hear downstairs was the clattering of pans and objects banging together every few seconds. Luckily, Changbin was a heavy sleeper.

"What are you doing?" Jisung yawned from where he stood at the bottom of the stairs, leaning against the door frame with a grey, fluffy blanket wrapped around his shoulders and watching Chan rush around. Chan was standing by the sofa, rearranging the pillows in an entirely new order to how they had been since they moved in. "I don't think Yena is going to pay attention to the cushions, she's five years old," Jisung mumbled.

"Yeah well, I don't get to see her very often so I want the house to look good, first impressions and all that," Chan mumbled as he took a step back to examine the white and grey pillows he had ordered along the back of the leather sofa. Jisung walked over and sat down on one side of it, making the pillows Chan had been working on start to fall beside him. When Chan let out a heavy sigh, Jisung giggled.

"Sorry," he apologised, picking them up and putting them up straight before looking back at Chan who was rearranging the candles on the fireplace. "Chan, why are you getting so stressed? She's your daughter, she's not going to care what your house looks like."

"What if she doesn't like it though? The apartment wasn't so bad, she grew up there for the first two years of her life but what if she doesn't like this new place and she doesn't want to visit me anymore?"

Jisung leaned forward and grabbed Chan's wrist, pulling him backwards until he was sitting beside him on the sofa. Chan sighed, leaning his head against Jisung's shoulder as Jisung wrapped some of the blanket around him. "Yena isn't going to stop wanting to visit you. She loves you more than anything and besides, this house is fucking awesome!"

Chan chuckled as he buried his face against Jisung's neck, breathing in the scent of his freshly shampooed hair from last night. All of the stress that had been building up evaporated once he was in Jisung's arms.

"Plus, you've spent more time working on Yena's bedroom than you have the rest of the house. You covered the whole room in princesses and the colour pink! She's going to love it."

"You sound pretty excited about that. Are you sure you don't want to pretty, pink princess room, Jisung?" Chan teased, making Jisung scoff.

"Obviously I want a pink princess room."

Chan smiled as he sat up and pressed a kiss to Jisung's forehead, "you're adorable. You know that, right?"

Jisung smiled back at him with a grin that revealed his teeth, "maybe."

When Yena saw the new house she was more than excited. She jumped up and down and exclaimed things such as, "it's got two floors," and "it's so pretty!" When she found out her dad had moved in with Jisung and Changbin she had been even more excited, running up to Jisung and hugging him before doing the same to Changbin and claiming they were the coolest people she'd ever met and she was glad they were moving in with her dad.

When Chan told Yena that she had her own room, she practically squealed and ran up the stairs to go and see it. Her eyes wandered around the room in disbelief when she saw the baby pink walls and curtains, the castle-shaped bed and the toy box full of dolls. At home, she had a plain room that Yujin had never bothered to decorate and she didn't have any toys except the ones Chan bought her, but this room was like her dream come true. "Daddy, it's so cool. I want to live here forever!" She claimed, jumping up and down on the bed as Chan watched her from the doorway, a proud smile on his face.
