"These things are so stupid!" I said holding a tiny boy with a red pointy hat. "It's a garden gnome Ella" my friend Sandy announced. My name is Ella and i learned an important lesson. Never smash a gnome! I hoisted the boy gnome over my head. "Ella don't!" Sandy shouted. "CRASH!" The tiny gnome shattered into buts and pieces hitting the sidewalk. "I can't stand these spooky things" i whispered to Sandy. "I have to get home for dinner now Sandy" i said trotting off down the sidewalk to my house four homes down. It was late at night. I lay in bed exhausted. I heard noises from outside. I peeked through my window. I saw something run across the lawn. "Aww a little kitty" i whispered to myself. I hopped outside into the foggy chilled yard scattered with orange and red leaves. "Here kitty kitty!" I called. I stepped into the middle of the yard. Gnomes appeared. Gnomes surrounding me! Peering at me with those bright red eyes. "Get her!" A gnome in a white coat and red pointy hat shouted. They attacked. Grabbing me. "Our friend!" One gnome blurted. "I don't understand?" I replied shaking. "Destroyed our friend!" He kept repeating. A gnome in all green announced holding a small red hat in his hand. "Oh the tiny gnome i smashed!" I muttered. "I'm sorry!" I shouted. "I didn't mean to brake the gnome! It was an accident" i shouted. The fog was thick like a milky paste. I stood in the yard chattering my teeth shaking from fear. The gnomes grabbed me. Pulling me down the lawn. They hog tied me. The carried me to a tiny house. I could bearly fit in the house. A gnome entered holding some kind of powder. She was wearing a long black coat and a black pointy hat. A WITCH GNOME! She mumbled some words. Some kind of spell. "Please I'm sorry i never ment to smash him! I learned my lesson!" I shouted. She sprinkled me with the powder. "No!" I screamed. The house grew bigger and bigger. No i began shrinking. "I'm a gnome!" I said shivering. "I can't live like this! I don't want to be a gnome! Nooo!" I screamed. The other gnomes hoisted me high into the air. "SMASH HER!" One gnome shouted. "No please give me one more chance I'll do anything. I will take care of all of you! I'll be nice for now on" i cried. They carried me outside. They tossed me into the air. I hurtled through the air! Falling down. Down. Until i smashed into tiny bits and pieces! "Noo!" I screamed. I tossed and turned in my bed. "I'm alive! I'm in my bed!" I shouted. I ran to the window. The witch gnome standing in the street. Fog glowing in the street lights. "They gave me another chance!" I said smiling laying back in bed.
