I'm in love with painting. I can't really draw but i sure can paint. My walls are covered with my paintings. Sure it's time consuming and i always have an excuse to ditch my friends. While they are out having fun I'm inside painting a mural. I needed some art supplies so i rushed to the paint store. I grabbed my umbrella. "Bye Mom" i yelled walking out the door. It was raining. I walked down the sidewalk and onto the store. I Trudged inside closing my umbrella. The walls were covered with faces of girls. Pretty girls all looking like models. "Hello there young lady." A womans voice called. I stood admiring a painting of a beautiful girl. Her red hair drapped down her shoulders. Her blue eyes staring back at me. I felt the beauty. I saw the sadness in the picture. "Wow I'd love to be on the wall in here" i muttered. "You seem to be entranced by these paintings young lady!" The woman announced. "It's so gorgeous!" I replied smiling. "My name is Fawn i own this gallery." She mentioned as we walked around the room. "So many paintings who are these girls?" I asked standing in front of a painting of a princess. "These are all my girls. My models. I love faces! The uniqueness and originality." Fawn said laughing. "I wish i could paint this good." I mumbled. "Tell you what, you bring me in your best painting of your face and we shall see if your wall worthy. What's your name dear?" She asked. "Sally" i replied smiling. She handed me some new brushes. Beautiful gold plated brushes. "These brushes are for talented young ladies like yourself." She said handing me them. "Neat" i replied. That night i sat at my desk painting my face. Thunder shook my room. The rain batted my window. It sounded soothing. Like i was in my own world. I finished my face and tucked it into my folder. I lay in bed thinking of my painting hanging in the gallery. To excited to sleep. But i drifted off to sleep anyway. I awoke in the gallery. Walking in my pajamas and night shirt. I heard cries and moans. Groans and pleas. "Help me" scattered the gallery. A girl was crying. I walked towards the cry. It was the painting! The face in the painting. The red haired girl. The face was shedding tears and begging for help. "This isn't happening" i mumbled. The cries got louder. I rubbed the painting. "Noo!" I screamed as the painting sucked me in. I stood in a white room. Fog filled the room. A cry filled the room. I walked towards it. I saw a white chair with a girl who sat facing away from me. "Stop! Don't come any closer!" The girl shouted. "Where am i? What's happening?" I blurted out. "You admire my painting i see" she replied. "You painted the face? You're the red haired girl?" I asked looking around the white room. "I was the red haired girl yes, but I've become something else." She mumbled aloud. "Became what?" I asked politely. "Trapped! Here in this white room. All alone! With no face!" She yelled facing me. Her face was gone. Just bone, muscles and ligaments. Her eyes sticking out of her skull! Staring right at me. I backed away shivering. "Don't be scared of me. I brought you here Sally. I need your help! I need my face back!" The girl walked away from me. She sat down in the white chair. "So you're trapped because of the painting? I asked softly. "All of us are! Each face has their own white room. Mrs. Fawn owns us. She gave us brushes to paint our faces and now we're stuck in her gallery. Stuck in our own paintings. FOREVER!" She mentioned crying. "What can i do though? I didn't trap you here, why am i here?" I asked staring into her face of bones. "You were admiring my painting. You saw the pain in my painting. You felt the fear. You understood the beauty! That's why you're here! Only you can help me. And the others. Do you still have the brushes?" She asked me holding onto my hands. "Yes! I have them on my desk." I replied. "Paint Mrs. Fawn! Every detail of her face! Bring it here tomorrow when you arrive." It will end this curse and she will be in our place!" She said hugging me. I painted Mrs Fawn. Every detail. From her long blonde hair to her hazel eyes. Her mole on the upper lip. It was early morning i hurried to the gallery. I opened the door. "Mrs. Fawn i have something for you!" I yelled. "What is it dear?" She asked. "My face!" I handed her the painting. She dropped it. Her face began melting. The skin dropped to the floor. A fog spread around her. She vanished. I picked up the painting. Girls appeared all around me. Beautiful girls from the paintings on the walls. Hugging eachother and thanking me for releasing them from their paintings. "It worked!" The red hair girl said smiling at me. "Yeah it did!" I replied. I now have a new painting to add to my collection. "Welcome to my wall Mrs. Fawn."
