'They're going to kill you, Mija' 'Don't trust anyone'. I've grown to accept that though, it's not like it causes me any trouble.
Dottie walked into my room looking nervous, "Alpha, some people are concerned that you might need some time off, because you've been more... angry since-"
"Dottie, if you came to scrutinize me, the door is to your right." I said with a mean tone.
Dottie looked sorry, "Alpha... we just wanted to help you. You don't look as happy as you used to," Dottie said.
I looked at her, "What are you hiding, Dottie? Because I know you or the pack don't care, so what did you do to cause trouble?"
Dottie whimpered, "Alpha, I'm truly not hiding anything, we're worried, Aphmau."
"Don't, use my name!" I growled.
"Just think about it Alpha, but for now I'm also here to tell you it's your turn to go and get necessities," she said as she left.
I sighed and looked at the photo of me and mother sitting on my desk.
That was back when I was happy, and Dottie was right, I was just denying it. I wasn't as happy as I used to be, but that was obvious. I was having less of a temper, snapping more often, and treating my pack horribly.
My mother was the only one I was caring about, trying to make her proud, and realizing I was doing the complete opposite.
I headed out my room and held my head down as everyone directed their gaze at me. It was getting to me, and I hated it.
As I stepped outside I took a deep breath of the fresh air and smiled a little. I hid my ears and tail, looked around and hurried out of the forest. Checking to make sure no one was looking, I stepped out of the forest and onto the sidewalk.
I looked around at the people with baskets full of delicious food, that I happened to be craving. I had plenty of money, since I had to feed an entire pack of hungry wolves, it wouldn't be cheap either.
How much would I loose if I splurged a little? No one had to know...
As I walked into the meat isle, I looked at all the delicious meat and smiled, home sweet home. I looked around until I saw the one type of beef I wanted the most, and I went to grab it but another hand touched mine, and we looked at each other. I growled
"Can I have it, pleaseeeeeeee?"
"I-I need this type of meat specifically," he said.
"So do I," I said with some attitude.
He sighed and said, "Fine, have it, I'll just take a different type then."
"No, wait! I feel bad," wait. I feel bad? What...
I guess he didn't answer back because he knew I'd give it back to him.
I kept shopping getting enough food to hold up the line. When I finished, I took the meat and slipped it into his basket. On the package I wrote: I'm sorry -Aphmau
