"I love you," she said, and my heart melted. She loves me. Someone I met at a grocery store, loves me.

"Aph, I love you too," I said quietly.

"Uh, guys that's cute, but we've got to go because the G.F are coming for you two," said Daniel, breaking the moment. I sighed, and Aphmau laughed, us still hugging.

She pulled away, "He's right," and I nodded. An awkward silence filled us for a moment. I led the way as we started walking in a random direction, looking for a town.

-

We walked in silence until we saw light through the thick trees. We stopped looking through the thick trees, seeing a small town, surely not popular. A perfect one for hiding out in.

"Alright keep walking," I said.

-

We walked into the town, talking around trying to figure out how to find the lord. Eventually we figured out that the obnoxiously tall tower was his.

So we walked up the stairs, winded, and knocked.

"Who is it?" said a egotistically sounding voice.

"Just some newcomers," I said, trying to sound innocent.

He opened the door, being completely dressed up, clearly having too much time on his hands.

"Welcome," he said as he winked at me, "to the town of Ro'meave," and I heard Aaron do a small growl.

"Oh thank you for welcoming us, but we'd like to get settled here," I said charming him.

"O-Of course, just come in and sign a few papers and you're in," he said.

"You'll have to find someone to stay with, though," he said quietly.

"You wouldn't mind if we built our homes?" I said, batting my eyes.

"N-Nope, that's okay," he said quickly. I signed the papers after quickly skimming it.

"Thank you!" I said as we walked out.

"Aph! What was that?" said Aaron.

"Chill, just seducing him for permission to build, anyway," I said as he scoffed, "I'm yours, so don't fret."

"What are we going to do about the fact we need money to buy materials for three houses," he said.

"Well, I was hoping two not three," I muttered, "but, you've got a good point. Maybe odd jobs? Everyone needs something done," I said, and he just shrugged.

"We'll figure it out."

-

"Did you find her?" said Michael, who'd given himself green eyes under the use of a certain potion. He was faced away from the soldier.

"N-No sir, maybe-"

"You didn't, did you?" he said.

"..."

"You're fired," he said. "Now leave, before you can't." said Michael, reaching for his pocket, and the soldier left.

-

A few weeks later, we'd finally finished the second house. We got money by getting paid to do chores. You wouldn't believe how lazy the people here were.

"Alright, now one more left," said Aaron and Aphmau pouted.

"What, tired?" he chuckled, but Aphmau responded with,

"No, I don't wanna live alone, let me live with you."

Aaron blushed, but didn't bother hiding it.

"Alright."

"Yes..." Aphmau whispered, but was cut off by Aaron abruptly kissing her.
