"Alpha!" I called. I knew she ran away, but I didn't think it would be this far. We had all decided to go searching for her, hoping to find her.

"Alpha!"

-

I heard someone calling out Aph, but I was smart enough to know that could have been the G.F.

As much as I wanted to follow it, I couldn't.

I sighed, walking around, marking a path with tiny bits of blue tape on each tree.

I wish we could have a day of peacefulness for once.

-

"We found destroyed tents outside the woods, boss."

"Search that forest, I bet the rat is in there with her pack."

"Yes sir."

-

As I was walking around, a flashlight shined in my general direction. I froze. The flashlight came turning toward me. I moved to the side of it, the span increasing, and me finally seeing the person aiming it.

A G.F.

Getting behind them, I punched their head and knocked them out, they were never good at defense as much as offense.

A quick check around revealed no one was with them, so I stole the gun, tucking it in the pocket of my dirty jeans.

-

"Alpha! Where are you?!" we yelled, hoping for a response. Hoping because none of us actually knew how to survive without her.

"Alph-"

"Shut it werewolf," said the voice behind me, their hand over my mouth.

But the hand let go, falling back and pulling me down with it.

"You okay, Daniel?" said Aaron, offering a hand.

I nodded. "Where's Aphmau?" I said.

-

I saw blue tape markings, and remember Aaron had some on his belt, so I followed it. I did get lost a few times, but most of the time it was pretty easy to follow, forward or backward.

And things were pretty peaceful, until I found a knocked out G.F on the floor, slowly getting his consciousness back.

"Shit!" I whispered. I would've knocked him back out but I was too far away.

He saw me, and his expression turned emotionless, walking toward me- no, pacing toward me now. I say there shocked until a loud noise filled the air.

"You okay, babe?" said Aaron, looking at me. I nodded walking forward and hugging him, my head over his shoulder.

"Daniel?" I said, cocking my head. He smiled, even though his clothes were covered in dirt and ripped up in some parts.

I smiled back, feeling a little less bummed out, as if everything was going to be alright. I buried my face in Aaron's chest,

"I love you,"
