I was sitting at my desk, completing work I hadn't done yesterday, because of Dottie's incident. When everyone heard pounding at the door.
My eyes widened, I knew I couldn't trust him. He told the G.F. Why wouldn't he? He knew them longer than he knew us, why wouldn't he turn his back and tell them our precise location? Oh god, the pack would never forgive me, they would surrender me to them!
"Everyone get inside your rooms!" I yelled.
I heard many footsteps as I ran my fingers through my hair. Slapping myself quickly I opened the door after hiding my ears and tail.
It was just Aaron.
"I know you might not completely trust me, but you need to listen! The G.F are coming after me, they know I found out where you are and they tried killing me because I wouldn't say anything. Please let me stay, this is the only place they don't know about that I do."
I immediately pulled him in, shut the door and shouted, "False alarm!" and right after many werewolves stuck their heads out their window.
-
As the door shut behind me, I sat down at my desk.
"I'm sorry," he said his head in his hands.
"Nonsense, apologizing now would be wasting valuable time, how did they found out?"
"They questioned why I took so long, I'm not a very good liar," he said looking at me.
How do I know that isn't a good lie?
"What are our advantages?" I said hurriedly.
"Our? I thought you were mad at me." he said.
I blushed and looked away, "J-Just hurry, we don't have much time before they send out a lot of people."
"They already know it's in Raven Forest, our only advantage is that we're underground. We can block off the entrance, and they can't exactly burn or destroy stone right away... But that wont work they can mine it fast... We're all going to have to leave. As soon as possible."
I sighed out loud, taking deep breaths, trying to think.
I looked at Aaron and said, "Okay, tomorrow."
-
I watched outside my door as Aaron helped out people with packing their life into a single bag.
I closed my door taking a deep breath. It was difficult doing this alone, but now Aaron was a help.
I looked at my bag, and then around my bedroom, all the stuff in my room reminding me of my mother. I decided I wouldn't be taking anything with me.
I walked outside my room with an empty bag.
Dottie looked at my bag and said, "Alpha, aren't you taking something?"
I looked at her for a second, and replied with, "Do you need an extra bag?"
-
I sat in my room, at a long table waiting for Dottie, Rylan, and Daniel to arrive. We had to come up with a path to follow, a map, for example. Aaron and I sat at the table in silence.
The door opened abruptly, and the three sat down quickly. I didn't wait for hellos and went right into it.
"Aaron, how does the G.F move when searching?" I said holding a pencil.
"They circle, creating a closing around the area, and move in, closing in on the thing they're looking for." he said quickly.
"When do you think they will start this search?"
he thought for a second, "Tomorrow 5 AM"
"Then, by tomorrow 5 AM, we can't leave, because it will be closed off with soldiers, right?"
He nodded his head.
Dottie said slowly, "So we need to leave today..."
Everyone else nodded slowly.
Aaron looked over at the clock on the wall, 4:43 PM.
"We should go right now," he said worriedly.
