"Sadly Axel only has a few weeks left and we don't think he should suffer that long." The vet tells me.

"Suffer?" I questioned her.

She nods, "When he eats it'll hurt, when he drinks, it'll hurt. When he doesn't do either of those, he starves or dehydrates, this could be showing him mercy."

I hesitate and look back at Axel who starts to wake up. "Can I have a few minutes?"

She nods and I walk inside, Axel straightens up like he's ready to leave. I half smile and pet his head softly, "Hey boy." I said softly then hugged him closer to me. "I'm sorry I didn't catch this before." He lays back down and relaxes, "You were the best dog anyone could ask for." I kissed his head.

The vet knocks on the door and I walk out. "This is up to you Ava, but I strongly advise you to take what I said into consideration."

I nodded and she walks back around the hallway. I notice Kenny and Jonah together, well sorta. Kenny was leaning against a wall and Jonah was sitting on a bench.

I walked over and they both straighten up. "How is he?" Kenny asked first.

I looked back at him sadly, Jonah already knew but Kenny didn't. I frowned and Jonah held me again, "Looks like my house is gonna be even emptier now." I said to Kenny sadly.

Jonah hugs me closer to him, "You know you can always come over or I can." He says to me.

I nodded sadly, "I know."

"Kiara and I are here for you Ava." Kenny says to me rushed.

I looked at him, "You sure?"

Kenny nods, "We can talk about happened later." Kenny comes over and I hug him, thanking God that I still have him in my life. When we let go Kenny goes right to Jonah, "Frantzich, I swear to God, you pull the same shit you did on her from all those years ago--"

"Johnson that's not gonna happen." Jonah says to him.

I watched Kenny's jaw tighten but he takes a deep breath, "I have to go see my mom, I'll see you guys later."
