Chapter 23

The next morning I was awakin by my dad voice telling us to get up and get ready. I woke up and took a shower and got dressed then went to the dining room to eat. Elizabeth cook bacon,hashbrown,eggs and other delicious stuff. We ate then dad took us to this place where we had to have a partner and had to find hidden objects, what did this have to do with family I dont know but just went with it. Melissa was partners with chris, elizabeth was partners with tom and dad took mike, which left me with derek.

It was wierd with me being partners with derek but he made fun. He was always telling jokes about the things we found or how he could of been home doing something with his friends but instead hes here on a stupid family trip.

When the game was finish the winner was melissa and chris. She jumped up and down with glee as she wrapped her arms around chris and pulled him to a hug. I was mad and it showed that derek lean and whispered "dont let her see you mad or shell try harder". I smiled and melissa notice and a jealousy look appeared on her face which made my smile widen more.

The second family activity was surfing. Derek showed a litte exciment when my dad said that so I guess he was looking forward of it. We changed into our bathing suit and headed towards the beach. Once we got there derek wasted no time to start surfing and so did chris who had little trouble. I heard milessa laughter and notice she was laughing at chris and he was smilling at her I honestly was lost with them two, after this whole partner thing started they was acting sort of wierd which creep me out.

I finally decided to give it a try but right when the wave came I felled right down in the water. This happened a couple a times, when I finally gave up and was about to get out the water this boy came over and ask do I need help? I smiled and said yes, he came closer to me and started explaining but I guess he notice my face expression and decided to do something else.

He came closer to me and made my body straight and touched my shoulders and whispered you would always want to keep them straight unless you want to turn. Then he touched my back and said keep straight, then my legs. After he finish teaching me I decided to give it a try and who would of thought it actually worked. After I got off he came up to me abd said that was great, I smilled and said thank you, im jeremiah and you are - jalessa I interrupted. He smilled and said I hope I see you agian, you definetly will.

It was getting dark so we went back inside. My dad said that we could do whatever we wanted but had to be back here at 10:00. Me and derek decided to go to this party they was having and chris well I didnt know what he was up to but I know it had to do with melissa.

After derek and I got dress and was headed to the party. I had on a short little white dress and he had on black jeans and white shirt.

Wow its full I whispered to derek but he didnt say nothing he just chuckled. We went t this place where there was a ocean view which was cute and romantic.

So hows the vacation so far he asked?

Well to tell you the truth good?

Good he replyed?

Yes derek good.

10:00 came by rather fast and we was making our way back to the hotel when I heard a familiar voice. I turned around and was face to face was the guy that thought me how to surf jeremiah.

Hey he said .

Hey I didnt know you was here I ask?

Me either but umm..... J -jalessa would you like yo hang out sometimes as friends he ask in a shy voice.

I would love that I replyed with a smile.

He return the smile and I saw a "thank goodness look on his face" and couldnt help but think about the troubles he went through just to ask me a simple question.

I return back to derek and I saw a slight smirk on his face. What I ask, he shake his head and said nothing weboth know it was something but I gave up and just shruged. What a day this have been I guess I was wrong about this vacation instead of bad it was good and I like spending time with derek I got to know him better and saw that he was nothing like his mother elizabeth.

I put on some green shorts and a black tink top layed on my bed and drifted off to sleep.

A/N what do you think. Whats going on with melissa and chris and is jalessa falling for jeremiah or does she still have her heart on adrian or maybe jordan. And whats the new relationship with her and derek.
