Alternate Universe Laws
The Titanomachy was a ten-year war between the titans who were the older generation of Gods and the Olympians who were the new generation of Gods.

Thousands of ashes scattered all over the sky like a blizzard of sooty snow. They littered Demeter's skin and the burns didn't even cause her to flinch. It was hard to feel temperature when the adrenaline that burned violently within rose above the surface. The emerald pastures that were first created by Gaia on Mount Olympus had been covered with a thick layer of Ichor. It was the essence of the Gods, the sapphire blue substance that enabled them to unleash power that only belonged to superior beings. It thrived within them like the blood of a mortal and they rushed down the streams and infiltrated the soil. Instead the only signs of life were the poppy flower that grew and their beautiful petals displayed a deep scarlet. Demeter trudged through the fields, the weight of the armour was finally non-existent. Had it been that long already?
The Titanomachy was over. The titans' corpse would take a few more days to disintegrate into nothing once their essence was drained from their body. But the majority of them were unable to die. There was a special place in Tartarus for them. Long before the war was over, Zeus decided to divide the realms. The Heavens, the Seas and the Underworld. In the Underworld, where sinners are blessed with torment, the titans would all be punished for the turmoil the Olympians had been through.
So, there should be happiness in Demeter's heart but the naïve Goddess that was trapped in the sewers was no longer ignorant. She vaguely remembered how Olympus used to be, the face of her The Mother was almost forgotten as well. So, the Goddess looked around carefully. It was hard to remember where the streams had parted the land, when the rubble of the vast boulders that were thrown by the Hecatonchires stacked up towards the clouds. They created another peak on Mount Olympus. She could still feel the static seep into her sandals as she stepped into each puddle. The lightning bolts created by the cyclones were very powerful, it allowed them to free their sisters and brothers from the grasp of the titans. They were planted into the waters and they waited until the bodies rose from the sea.
Demeter didn't remember if there were other buildings before they were all eaten. Perhaps at the back of her mind there was a monstrous sized castle that overlooked the universe from a single point in the sky. Maybe there was a forest or a sacred garden with delicious fruits and animals that had once roamed the land and ate on those green pastures. But today, the Goddess looked before her as her feet led her to where she needed to go. The earth was barren. The trees were all swept away as the wave of destruction that came with war washed over the land.
Then the Goddess felt her body changing, like the Ichor that levelled up to her ankles were crawling into her, looking for their new host. It wasn't like Demeter ever felt weakness, there was strength she was naturally capable of. But her every being was being reconstructed, a shell of the once little child was broken and what resurfaced was a Goddess with desirable beauty and power. Her blonde hair lengthened and two strands braided on their own around the crown of her head.
She was in the midst of a large pond, it seemed as through this was the place where a majority of the essence had gathered during the war. The Ichor was almost translucent and usually the essence would be shaking vigorously when out in the open. But today. They kept still. Demeter fell to her knees and stared at the reflection before her.
