Yellow Hyacinth~Jealousy

When Seokjin had sworn he wouldn't return to the heavens until there was no reason for him to stay on Earth, the Goddess of Harvest had expected his following months with the mortals to be peaceful. But the Goddess Leto had disguised herself as a human and now Seokjin's beautiful, serene life. She had been visiting their little shop to buy some flowers. It was her excuse of course. Her true agenda was that she needed to ask Seokjin for a favour. She would pass notes to him when Namjoon went to pick out the flowers. Then she would request to see Seokjin alone. And the Goddess of Harvest soon found it difficult to hide his frustration from Namjoon.

"The usual?" Namjoon smiled as he began preparing the linnaea borealis. He took a few and began to wrap it up with thread and silk ribbons. He added a small card that had a small message of thanks. Then she would take the flowers in her hands and hand him a rare jewel, one that was enough to buy the whole street. It would be her que to leave, but Leto had grown far more desperate over the months.

Seokjin had resorted to hiding under the counter whenever she visited. Leto peered over the table worriedly. "High Godd-"

"Stop." Seokjin yelled. That had been close. She had almost called him by his title right in front of Namjoon. The Goddess of Harvest stood up, he was red from anger. He took his apron off and walked over to the deity that had been infuriating him over the past months. Seokjin grabbed his fellow Goddess by the hand and looked back at Namjoon. "Look after the shop. I'll be back." He had to give in and listen to what she needed his help for, otherwise he would lose his mind.

Suddenly, he felt Namjoon's grip on his hand. The human was stopping him from leaving.  Looking back, Seokjin saw a worried expression. The human's gaze continued to flicker between the two Goddesses. Seokjin hadn't seen that look before, Namjoon always had a smile on him. "I- umm." Namjoon stuttered. "Be back soon, alright?"

The Goddess nodded, although he was unsure what the human meant with his tone. Perhaps he didn't want to close the shop on his own today. "We are just going to talk at the tavern down the road." Namjoon nodded, he turned away and began packing up for the evening. Seokjin couldn't erase the look Namjoon had worn on his face from his mind. Even as he weaved through the crowded streets away from the little shop, he continued to feel uneasy.

"Wine. Lots of wine." Seokjin called once he entered the tavern. He sat at the table in the corner of the room and placed down a couple of silver coins. He tossed the ends of his robes over the stool and glared at his fellow Goddess. Namjoon didn't really like it when Seokjin drank, not that the Goddess really understood why. "How many times do I have to tell you? I've cut my ties off with the matters of the Heavens. I can't help you with whatever problem you have-"

"I'm pregnant." She said desperately. "You're the only one that can help me."

Instantly the tavern went silent, all eyes were now on them. "The wine is on me everyone, my dear friend is pregnant with her husband." Seokjin lied through his teeth as he clapped. The room was suddenly filled with cheers as people began to order more wine. That had been close. He didn't want people to start rumours that he was a 'father' just because of the human body he chose to take. The tavern was bustling with gossip once again, everyone returning to their conversations. Luckily humans were easily distracted. "Be careful with what you say. This village is relatively small, everyone knows everyone and I don't want these rumours to get back to Namjoon."

"Is that the human you traded the Heavens for?" Leto asked quietly.

"Are you insulting me?" Seokjin hissed. His temperament wasn't very good. "My days here are peaceful and every day you visit, Namjoon is getting uneasy with your behaviour."
