The Stars Amongst Us [2yeon ff]

I slammed the door open, locking the door then ran into the living room.

"Jeongyeon!?" I call out for her.

"What?" I hear her yell back at me.

"Come down here!"

"I'm doing something!"

"Just come!"

"Fine!" She yells. In a few seconds she walks down the stairs in a towel, her hair still wet.

"What do you want?" She asks me, somewhat annoyed.

"Sit down." I pat the cushion beside me on the couch and she does so. "So at my work there's this guy named Jaehyun who likes me a lot, he would do anything to make me be his wife."

"Yes and?"

"When I was gonna drive home I saw that the tires of the car were cut, making me unable to drive. Now that I think about it I think about it, I think he did it."

"Ok is that what you called me for?"

"No no," I hold her arm so she doesn't leave, "As I was walking home I noticed that he was following me, but there was also something following in the bushes. Jaehyun tackles me and threatens me with a knife to marry him."

Her eyes widened and she started to worry, "Wait are you ok? Did he hurt you?" She started looking around me for any cuts or bruises.

"No I'm fine, as he pinned me to the ground the thing that was following me in the bushes was a wolf. It jumped out of the bushes and attacked Jaehyun."

"Wait," She pauses, "A wolf saved you?" I nodded. "Did it hurt you?"

"It only went up to me and sniffed me before running away into the forest."

She sighs in relief, "Ok good, are you sure you are not hurt?"

"Nope."

She stands up, "That's good." She starts walking back to the washroom when I remember something.

"Did you make breakfast for yourself?"

She stands still, frozen. Then she turns to me and smiles, "Yeah, it was great." She then quickly runs up the stairs.

-Timeskip-

Now Jeongyeon and I were getting ready to sleep after eating dinner, as I was gonna walk upstairs to my room I see Jeongyeon laying on the couch with her blanket.

"Are you not gonna sleep on the bed with me?"

"Are you fine with it?" She turns to me.

"Yeah."

"Ok." She stands up, holding her blanket and pillow and following me to my room.

I lay down on the left side and Jeongyeon lays down on the right side of the bed, we turn away from each other and I close my eyes.

I tried to sleep but I was full of adrenaline and I couldn't stop thinking about that wolf. I wonder where he or she is. I would like to thank them if I wouldn't be killed.

Why did it not kill me? Was it because it saw me being attacked and thought I wasn't a predator? I don't know, I don't have the mind of that wolf. I'm just really grateful, if it wasn't for the wolf I'd probably die.

I also wonder how Jaehyun is right now. Nevermind, who cares about him? Not me.

"Hey Jeongyeon-" I turned to her to ask her something but she was fast asleep. I turn back around and close my eyes. It took me an hour and countless thoughts before falling asleep.
