The Stars Amongst Us [2yeon ff]

"Bye Jeongyeon!" I yell before leaving the house. I rush to my car and drive quickly to work before I'm late.

We both woke up late from staying up late last night. When I woke up Jeongyeon's head was on mine as my head laid on Jeongyeon's shoulder. I made breakfast quickly for the two of us but I couldn't eat much.

I parked my car in the parking lot of the building before walking inside and greeting people in the lobby. I walked into the elevator, my bag hanging on my shoulder and a coffee in my hand.

The elevator stops at the 3rd floor and a girl runs into the elevator out of breath. She was carrying a bunch of papers in her arms and looked like she was gonna drop all of them. I have never seen her before in the office.

"What floor?" I ask politely.

"The 6th floor." Her voice was kinda high, almost like a cute baby. My office was also on the 6th floor and I have never seen her before.

"My office is also on the 6th floor." I looked at her, she was taller than me, had black bangs and looked really pretty.

"Oh wow, I just started her yesterday."

"That's great, I've been working here for a while so I can help you if you need me." I smile and she smiles back. "Oh where are my manners, what's your name?"

"Momo."

"Nayeon." I would hold out my hand to shake her hand but she looked full trying to carry all the paper she had.

There was silence after that. It was nice to meet someone new. Hopefully Momo can keep up with the work. I Hope the office hires more people so the work can be easier for everyone but the boss wants a specific amount of people due to money. Wait all of the jobs were taken, if Momo got hired that means someone else got fired or left.

"May I ask, who did you replace?" Momo thought for a while.

"I think his name was Jaehyun, he quit but I don't know why."

That explains it. Wait Jaehyun! No way. If he's gone then I'm free from him! This is the best thing I ever heard. Finally I can work without worrying about a single thing!

The elevator beeps and stops at the 6th floor. Doors open and we leave.

"Well I should be going now, nice meeting you!" She says and I say goodbye. We both walk opposites way into our offices.

I sit down, turning on my computer and opening my bag. I lay work across my desk and just as usual, I go straight into working.

Jeongyeon POV

I sit down on my comfy couch, turning on the television and relaxing. Wonder what Nayeon is doing. Everyday she just drives off to "work" and then comes back at night. Well maybe I should judge, I go out every night.

I'm still wearing the same clothes as yesterday, maybe I should try something else. I have nothing else to do so might as well.

Running up the stairs and into Nayeon's room, opening the closet door to see the clothes Nayeon bought for me.

I reached the pajama that Nayeon got. I take off my clothes and change into the red onesie. It's warm and comfy.

I walk back downstairs in my new clothes and plop down on the couch. I'm beginning to really enjoy watching shows, they always entertain me. Wish I had it sooner.

It's dark outside and I think it's time for me to stop watching shows and go outside for my daily walk.

Nayeon POV

"Bye!" I wave to the night guards as I leave work. I go into my car and drive back home. I hope I can find that wolf today when I look for them.

The door opens. "Jeongyeon I'm home!" I yelled but all I heard was my own voice echoing in the house. I guess she left like usual. No problem because I'm going outside anyways.

I change into more comfortable clothes and leave my bag beside the bed. Quickly I ran outside and into the forest to meet my friend.

"Hello?!" I yell as I walk on the dark pathways towards the hill. I hear nothing but grasshoppers chirping. I hope I see the wolf again. I hope that nothing bad has happened to them.

My hands lay on the soft grass blades on the hill as I sit down, waiting if they will come. I stretch my legs out and look up at the starry night. The wind blows softly against my hair and the moon gets brighter. My hands feel slightly cold but it doesn't bother me from the large night sky that surrounds me.

"Ah!" I scream as I feel something touch my hand. I turn to see my furry friend that has come. They jump a little from my sudden scream but we both calm down in seconds.

"I missed you! I couldn't find you yesterday." I kneel in front of them, running my hands through their fur and petting their face.

We settle down and we sit beside each other. They lay their head on my leg while their body curls up into a fluffy ball, it looked cute.

As I play with the wolf's fur I hear a stomach rumble. I look down at my friend and they look up at me.

"Are you hungry?" They nod what do wolves eat? I might have some meat at home. Jeongyeon probably wouldn't mind if some of her bacon is gone, plus I buy her food anyways I can always get more.

"How about we go to my house? I have some food there." They stand up, their tail moving side to side slowly.

"I'm gonna take that as a yes. Let's go." I stand up as well. I walk down the pathway back to the house with my friend walking beside me. Maybe I should give them a name so I don't have to say friend. Also I need to somehow know what their gender is.

Jeongyeon shouldn't be returning anytime soon because she comes back later at night, almost morning. I don't have to worry about Jeongyeon getting hurt by my friend.

The door opens and I lead the wolf into the kitchen trying not to make a mess. I open the fridge and take out the container with bacon in it. Their tail wags faster, obviously excited to eat.

I grab a large bowl from one of the cabinets and place a few strips of bacon in it. I lay the bowl on the ground and they go straight into chowing down. I also fill another large bowl with water for them to drink. I watch as the wolf switches from one bowl to another, eating some bacon then drinking some water.

Just in a minute all of the food has disappeared from the bowl and the wolf sits down, looking up at me.

"Do you want more?" I pet the side of their face and they nod. What a smart wolf.

I put the remaining pieces of bacon in the bowl and they focus on eating. I wonder how long they haven't eaten for them to eat so much bacon.

Once again they finish all of the food and I sigh. "I don't have anymore bacon sorry."

Together we walk back outside the house. I crouch down to the wolf's eye level and play with their fur again. They started to lick my cheek and I couldn't help but smile.

I say goodbye to them and watch as they run fast into the woods and out of my sight. Hopefully I can play with them again. I breathe in and out the fresh air one more time before heading back inside.
