The Stars Amongst Us [2yeon ff]

"Sorry Jeongyeon, there isn't anymore bacon." I say, placing her plate in front of her on the table.

She pouts, honestly she looks really cute doing that. I couldn't help but to let out a little laugh. "Don't worry I'll go buy some more bacon after I finish work."

"Ok." Though she looks down at the food I can see a small smile form on her face.

-Timeskip-

"Bye!" She waves at me before I leave the house for work. Isn't she sweet? I buckle up my seatbelt and drive off back to the town.

-Timeskip-

"Hi Momo!" I run into the elevator that she's in before the doors close. She was holding a large cardboard box.

"Good morning Nayeon!" The doors close and we start to go up to the 6th floor. "Guess what?"

I turn to her, "What?"

"My desk was moved so now I get to work beside you now!"

"Are you serious?!" She nods a thousand times with a huge smile on her face. "Yes! Now my room won't be that lonely now!" I smile wide. I finally get to have someone in my office and better it's my friend.

The doors of the elevator open. Together we walk to my office. I unlock the door with my keys and turn on the lights of my office. There's a large table in the room that fits 2 computers on it. So Momo can sit beside me and work.

Momo sets the box she was holding down beside her new desk and opens it. It's full of personal stuff and items that can help her with work.

She begins to place all of the stuff on the desk, pencils, paper, even some pictures. I pick up a picture frame and look at the picture. The picture of Momo and another man.

"Momo who is this?" I point to the man and she looks at it.

"Oh that's my boyfriend Heechul."

"Wow I didn't know you had a boyfriend, he looks amazing."

She smiles, "Yeah he's the best." She then looks at me, "Are you dating anyone special?" She says, nudging my shoulder.

Of course I laugh at the question, "No, I just haven't found anyone I'm interested in yet."

"Well I hope you find someone who makes you feel special." She smiles one last time before going back to move her stuff onto the desk.

I chuckle, putting the picture down then turning on my computer. As we worked we exchanged a few words and our phone numbers and we started to follow each other on instagram.

-Timeskip-

I yawn loudly, it's beginning to get dark and I'm getting sleepy.

"I need some coffee." I stand up from my chair about to go to the break room but Momo stops me.

"Don't get coffee, eat an apple. It gives you more energy plus you won't get tired after."

"Really?" She nods, "I didn't know that. Thanks!" I leave the room and enter the break room to grab myself a red apple and take a bite out of it as I go into the office again.

I sit back down and go straight back into working.

Momo checks the clock on the wall then stands up, "Time for me to go home." She starts to fill up her bag with the unfinished work she has and then gives me a hug from behind while I sit in my chair.

"Bye! Go have fun with Heechul!" I say as she walks to the door of the room.

"Go find your special someone!" She waves then leaves the room. Leaving me alone for the next few hours.

I don't I'll ever find someone though. No one likes me, well Jaehyun does but he's a creep. I'll probably be a cat lady at home with no one to date. At least I have Jeongyeon to keep me entertained, and Momo is a good friend, oh and that wolf friend!

I should play with them today when I get home. I check my phone to see the time. A few more hours, just a few till I'm off.

Sigh, I can finally go home now. But I still have to buy food for Jeongyeon, maybe I should buy some food for my other friend while I'm at it so I can give it today. That sounds like a plan.

As I drive I listen to some groovy music. Even singing along with it if I know the lyrics. It was night, so all of the stores were closed but luckily a grocery store was still open for me to buy the food.

I parked the car and quickly looked through all of the isles for any food I want to buy. Of course I bought tons of bacon and other meat but also bought some snacks for later. After buying everything I headed back to the car and checked on my phone before driving back home.

"Jeongyeon I'm ba-" and no one is here. That's fine, guess I get to spend more time with my friend again.

I drop my bag and store all of the groceries in the kitchen. I bring a package of bacon and my knife outside and make my way to the hill.

I was excited, I ran all the way to the hill. It's a long way there and I couldn't waste anymore time not playing with them.

I slowed down as the trees cleared up, showing the hill in the starry night. There they were, laying there on the top of the hill, waiting for me.

"Hey!" I yell from the bottom of the hill, gaining the attention of my friend. They stand up and turn to me before sprinting at full speed at me.

They ran all the way down the hill and when they reached me they jumped on me, making me fall to the ground. I laugh and play with them as they lay on top of me.

"I missed you! How are you?" They lick my cheek, I assume they are doing well.

"Ok get off of me, I need to do something." They do what I said and sit down beside me.

I sit up and examine them, "Hmm, based off what I've seen you are smaller than other wolves I've seen. Based on what I looked up on the internet at work today it says that female wolves are smaller than males. So are you a female?" They nod, "Ok, how about we give you a name?" She nods again.

I look around me for ideas, "Hmmm, how about....Luna?" I look at her for a response, at first she doesn't do anything but after a few seconds she nods.

"Ok good, I'll call you that for now on." I ruffle the fur on her head. "Let's go to the top of the hill." I point to the hill and we walk together there.

We sit beside each other on the hill, admiring the stars like yesterday. I love how we have the same interests, though we see the stars everyday it still fascinates us.

We had a lovely time just resting there, being with each other. Until we hear bushes rustling and the sound of growling behind us.
