"Who's there?" I yell out towards the noise. Luna stands in front of me, growling.

There were more rustling noises in the bushes, so I could move side to side. I pulled out my knife and grabbed it tightly. I was ready to fight.

That's when out of the darkness a bunch of wolves show themselves. There were 4 of them, and they did not look friendly.

The wolves and Luna exchange growls to each other and I stood there. I was ready to fight them but I was scared for myself and Luna.

The moon lit up the hill we stood on. The wolves started to make their way up the hill, ready to pounce on us. I would run but there were 4 of them and they were way faster than me.

Suddenly, one of the wolves pounced towards Luna and I but Luna jumps as well and bites the wolf's neck. That's when the other wolves started to attack.

They ran towards me, probably wanting me to feast but Luna was there to protect me. She blocked all of them from getting close to me, though there were 4 of them Luna stayed strong and continued to fight.

"Luna!" I yell out after one of the wolves jumps on her, pinning her to the ground. They wrestle each other, constantly get on top of each other.

Luna scratches the wolf but they do it too. They scratch her face, leaving a mark and making her face bleed.

As the 2 fought I remembered that there were 4 of them, 2 of them were missing. I look behind me and one of them jumps towards me, about to bite me but I quickly move to the side and make the wolf fall to the ground.

It quickly gets up and faces me. I held out my knife towards it but it didn't seem to scare the wolf. They jump at me again but I cut the side of their body, but in return they claw at my arm, making a somewhat large cut above my elbow. My adrenaline was pumping so I couldn't even feel the pain.

Before I can even turn around the same wolf jumps on my back and makes me fall forward and fall on my face. I blindly jab my knife behind me and hear a whimper. The wolf falls off of me and lays on the ground. It tries to stand up but I dig the knife further into its body and twisting it.

That's when it stopped breathing. 1 down, 3 left.

I rushed to Luna's aid who was still fighting the same wolf. They were both badly hurt, their blood was covering the grass. I kick the wolf who was on top of Luna, separating the two then stepping on the wolf's neck. Then I stab the body of the beast, killing it immediately.

I stood close to Luna, there was blood all over my clothes and skin. Luna looked horrible, her fur was wet with both her and the other wolves' blood but she was still going strong. There's 2 wolves left and we couldn't see them at all but we still kept our guard up.

Suddenly there was a growl behind us, we both turned around and one of the wolves jump at us, but Luna jumped, biting the wolf in the air. They both fall to the ground and bite each other.

I run to her but the last wolf comes out of nowhere and tackles me from the left and makes me drop my knife. They were on top of me, trying to bite me but I held them back with my arms.

I feel it's breath on my face as the wolf tries to bite my face. I try to move but can't, I look to my side and see Luna still fighting the other wolf and she's losing. She must be really tired to fight longer. I have to help her.

The knife was on my right. I tried to grab it but it was just out of my reach. I didn't know what to do. I was getting weaker myself, every second the wolf got closer to biting me. I try to hold them back but I don't know how much longer I can last.

I hear the growling of Luna and the wolf she's fighting in the distance but now I don't see them. I don't know what's happening. I hope she is ok. I really need help.

I was sweating hard, trying to push the wolf off of me but they kept going. It was like it didn't lose any energy at all.

"Someone help!" I yell with all of my energy. Someone please help, I don't want to die.

Now the growling stopped in the distance, it turned into whimpering, then silence. That means Luna or the wolf died. I pray Luna is still alive.

I hear something running towards me as I still hold the wolf back. In a second something tackles the wolf off of me. I immediately get up and grab my knife off the ground.

"Luna!" There she was, fighting the last wolf. She looked worse than before. I wonder how she's still fighting will all the scratch and bite marks she has on her body.

I didn't waste any time. I ran to Luna's aid and stabbed the other wolf. Together Luna and I attack the wolf, eventually killing it.

We survived, we won. I look at Luna and she falls to the ground, she was losing blood every second. She was so weak she couldn't stand anymore.

"Luna." I put my knife in its holster and picked her up with both my arms, "Don't worry, I'll bring you back to my house and fix you." I began to run back to the house.

Her body was drenched in blood. Her fluffy fur became wet and limp. I couldn't let her die, not on my watch.

I open the door and lay her on the dinner table, grabbing the first aid kit and start to work on her injuries.

"Stay with me Luna."
