the drive home was in a comfortable silence, just the quiet sound of the radio in the background.
reece was asleep by the time they reached his house.
blake got out of the car and carefully picked reece up, carrying him to the front door.
he knocked quietly, and lexi opened it.
"hi lex.. i've got a sleepy reecey here"
he smiled, looking at the little girl.
"blakey!! ello, you should take him up to his bedroom.. you know where it is right?"
"yep, thanks lex"
blake smiled, carrying the blonde up to his bedroom, then pulling his shoes, jeans, and shirt off.
he tucked the boy into his bed, kissing his cheek gently.
"sleep well bubs"
lexi was watching at the door.
"blakey?"
"yeah lex?"
he said softly.
"do you love reecey?"
"he's not my boyfriend yet.. but yes, yes i do"
he smiled fondly, thinking about the boy tucked up in bed behind him.
"good cos he said he loves you"
she giggled and hugged blake's leg.
"i gotta get home now lex.. my mum's probably wondering where i am"
"hm okay.. come back tomorrow though!"
she grinned, letting go of the tall male.
blake nodded and walked out to his car.
the day had been perfect.
reece was perfect.
blake thought about what lexi had said.
he really did love reece.
he is the one.
the only one.
