"tell him blake."
one of blake's mates said, looking at him.
blake let out a big sigh and nodded.
reece had a confused expression on his face.

"tell me what?"
reece asked, looking around at the large group of boys surrounding them.
it was lunchtime, and they were sitting out on the school field due to the nice weather.
reece's heart started racing.

"i think it's best that richardson himself tells you"
jaden told reece, a light smirk crossing his face.

"blake?"
reece asked, looking up at blake now.

"uhm.. do you know when george found out it was you i texted? well he dared me to make you fall in love with me.."
blake told him, then all the boys started laughing.

"t-that was all fake?"
reece teared up.

"whatever you think"
blake smiled sympathetically whilst shrugging.

"you said you loved me blake"
reece whispered.

"i said a lot of things reece"
blake continued to smile.
the group around them were still laughing.

"fuck you richardson. fuck. you."
reece let tears run down his pale cheeks.
he grabbed his stuff and sprinted off, away from everyone.
from everything.
brad saw and tried to follow him, but reece was too fast for him.

reece kept running until he reached the school gates.
he took a deep breath and opened it, running home.
he opened his front door, and luckily for him both his parents were out at work.
he laid down on his bed, crying his eyes out.
blake never loved him.
it was all fake.
just a joke.
and everyone knew about it?

blake stood there and watched as reece ran off.
george looked at him, noticing a slight bit of regret on his face.
george knew daring him was wrong, but it was all just for a bit of fun.
it wasn't gonna do any harm.. right?
blake was quiet for the rest of the day, fake laughing when someone told a joke.

did he fall in love with reece?
did he feel what reece felt for him?
did he lie?

brad arrived at reece's house ten minutes later, he walked straight through the door and up to his room.
he knocked on the bedroom door and waited.

"reece? it's brad here"
he said softly.

"go away"
reece mumbled, burying his head in a pillow.

"reece please.. i got you nuggets"
brad opened the door and walked over, sitting down on the bed next to the heart broken boy.

"h-he left me.."
reece choked out, starting to cry more.
brad pulled him into his arms, holding him close.

"he didn't deserve you reecey"
brad frowned, playing with reece's hair.

"he told me he l-loved me"
reece sobbed and buried his head in brad's chest.
brad soothed him, stroking his back until the loud sobs had calmed down.

"what you had was special.. i don't think he lied when he said he loved you reece"
