reece woke up to an empty bed the next day.
it was the holidays, and they had a week off.
the missing figure of blake made reece sad, but his room still smelled of his perfume.
reece slowly sat up, and noticed a little note on his bedside table.

hello bubs, it's around 9pm and you've been sleeping all day..
i've stayed the whole time just in case you needed me, but you seemed to be fine.
i hope you slept well!
you look cute when you sleep, but sorry for messing up your hair i was playing with it.
your mum is nice, she gave me food.
sorry you had to wake up without me, my mum wanted me to come home :(
well i should probably wrap this up..

reece smiled uncontrollably, slipping the note into his drawer for safe keeping.
he picked his phone up and turned it on, wincing at the bright light.

reece smiled and quickly pressed the facetime button on his phone.
it took a few seconds, but blake's sleepy face finally appeared on the screen.

"blakkkkkkeeeeee"
reece smiled, looking at the other boy.

"reeeeecccccceeeeee"
blake laughed, rubbing his eyes slightly.

"ello!"
reece giggled.

"you seem like you're in a good mood today bibby"

"of course, i'm going on a trip with my blakey"

"your blakey?"
blake asked, raising an eyebrow.

reece answered timidly whilst blushing.
"yes.. my blakey.."

"maybe i'll make you mine soon"
blake smiled, watching as the blonde turned a deeper shade of red.
"gosh you're adorable"

"blake shushhhh"
reece hid his face behind a pillow.

"where did my baby boy go?"

"i'm hereeee"
reece giggled.

"yep you're actually so cute"

"hmph.. where are we going?"

"it's a surprise, but i'm picking you up from your house at 9am and the train is at 9:30 so you better be ready love"

"how long will the train take?"

"a while baby"

"loud noises?"

"bring your special headphones love, i'll look after you"

reece nodded and smiled, snuggling back i to bed after propping his phone up on his bedside table.
he yawned a little, cuddling his dinosaur toy.
blake watched the boy whilst laughing softly.

"want me to sing you to sleep bubs?"

"please blakey.."
reece whispered.
blake got up and grabbed his guitar, sitting back down and getting comfortable.

"what song love?"

"hm.. sam fender?"

blake nodded and started to sing hypersonic missiles quietly to the sleepy boy.
as soon as he fell asleep, blake put the guitar away and snuggled back into his bed, leaning his phone on his desk.
slowly blake fell asleep too, leaving the facetime screen on.
