T: your damsel is in distress, Ren, right now.

Irina had probably read that text multiple times, still not knowing what to reply to him. But she could clearly see that Tim wanted her to come over and deep down she was longing to see him too.
So she asked Helena to take her to the hospital and as she knew that she would only take her to meet Tim if she had a proper lunch, so after four days, she finally ate properly.
Helena had noticed the positive change in her and felt a bit relieved. Soon after she had had lunch, Helena called Jason to take her to the hospital instead because she knew that if Irina Luthor was seen using public transport, it would only raise questions and risk attention from the press.
She had only gone out once after that incident and that was to attend Lex's funeral service. Lena had arranged everything and it was kept a minimal private gathering including only a handful of people who were close to Luthor.
Shortly afterwards, Jason arrived and after hugging Helena in farewell, Irina left with him for the hospital.
Throughout the ride to the hospital, she kept awfully silent, an odd sort of fear gnawing at her heart.
"Ren, there's nothing to be afraid of," Jason spoke in a reassuring tone, knowing full well what she was thinking, "Tim is much better than before, he has even started to walk and I'm sure he would be discharged in a few days."
She merely nodded in reply but the thought of seeing him and being reminded constantly that she was the reason to his injuries was still wrenching at her heart.
Tim was kept in a special isolated ward that Bruce had specially arranged for him so that they could easily access it without any unnecessary attention from the public.
True, some people had seen the Waynes especially Damian at the hospital since he had stayed with Tim for most of the time but usually people at hospitals had their own problems to deal with rather than trying to figure out the reason behind the Waynes' presence.
Irina followed Jay as he led her through the isolated section of the hospital until they finally reached the room where Tim was kept.
Richard had been waiting for Jay to arrive so that he could leave on duty and seeing her accompanying him, he gave her a sincere smile before taking her by surprise with a hug.
Noticing her shock, he spoke, "we understand, Irina. You don't have to worry about us being mad at you."
She was touched by the sincerity in his tone and that genuine smile he gave her which even reached his blue eyes, "thank you."
"You're welcome. And just so you know, none of us blame you for what happened so you should stop blaming yourself too."
Though she recalled vividly the hate in Damian's voice the last time she had seen him as she asked, "but Damian...?"
"Damian will come around to understand everything as well. He tends to get a little sensitive at times but he'll be okay. I'll see to that," he smiled, "I persuaded him to go over to Jon's for some time to cool him off and I'm sure when he comes back he'll be fine."
She only nodded because she didn't know what to say to him. Richard patted Jay's back before leaving and soon enough he was gone while the two of them were standing in front of the glass door.
She was still reluctant to step inside as her hand rested on the glass pane, looking at Tim who was asleep at the moment due to the heavy medication.
