This was....... A longer ass chapter than I thought it was gonna be.
--

HE LANDED ON his ass and immediately began shouting. "SHIT!!"

Kirishima was beside him, landing a little more gracefully than Bakugou did. He groaned, rubbing his head, then noticed the ash blond. "Hey man, you alright?"

Bakugou glared. "Fuck you, I'm fine!" He looked around, inspecting their current location. "Looks like we're on the roof of a building in the USJ. . . Fuck, there's no way to get down from jumping."

"There's an exit down the building here," noticed Kirishima, hurrying over to the hatch that lead to a staircase into the actual building. The redhead hurried over and knocked on it twice, then tried to figure out how to open it.

Bakugou stood, trying to see what he could find from up there. He could see most of the USJ, but the area was pretty blurry, and he couldn't make out anything important no matter how much he squinted his eyes. . . .Shit, am I near-sighted?

From the corner of his eye, he saw something in the sky. When he looked up, he saw one of those purple voids emerge above him. He was quick to prepare into a fighting stance for anything, but his eyes widened when the void spat out a person.

Wait a minute, he recognized that clad in blue!

Without wasting any time, he quickly leapt up and caught the girl, landing back on the wide roof with a jolt of pain shoot through the bottom of his feet and through his ankles. "Shit, that hurt!" he yelled.

Kirishima saw them. "Hey, Bakugou! Who's that?"

The ash blond nearly forgot about the (h/c)nette in his arms, who turned over and blinked her eyes open, before they widened with shock.

Right, this must've been pretty weird.

Bakugou couldn't help but blush, at a loss for words, but didn't bother to explain himself as he quickly dropped her like baggage. (L/n) fell to the ground with a thud. So that's how it feels. "If you're awake and not hurt, you're fine enough to stand on your own!"

"Bakugou, you're totally red-!"

"GRRAAH! SHUT UP, IDIOT!"

(L/n) dusted off her ass as she stood up, though struggling to at first. She looked at the two, seeming surprised to find Kirishima there as well. "Ah, Kirishima, I'm glad you're all right."

"Yeah, you too, (L/n)!" he smiled. There was a loud clank from the hatch, and Bakugou saw that he gave up trying to open it and just used the force from his hardened hand to open it. "Let's start trying to find a way down and regroup with the others. Who knows how many villains there are?"

He had a safety in numbers approach, but Bakugou didn't care that much about numbers, but about strength. The three entered inside the building and exited the roof, and Bakugou thought about his two classmates.

Kirishima was. . . well, Kirishima. He might not be the smartest, but he was brave, and his quirk wasn't half bad.

As for (L/n). . . She was strategic, and good at thinking up plans in a short amount of time. He knew her long enough to know that, but she worked best when she had time to think of an actual detailed strategy. If things didn't go the way she planned, he didn't know she'd react.

Her brain was good, but he didn't know about the limits of her Quirk. How much could she control and create at once? What exactly could she do with it? Was she better at long range or short range? Defense or offense-

"Bakugou! Are you listening?" questioned Kirishima.

He blushed. Fuck, he was starting to become like that shitty nerd Deku. "Of course I am! But repeat whatever stupid thing you said anyway."
