WHEN BAKUGOU CAME back to school on Monday, he couldn't help the scowl that arose on his face when he remembered about the existence of (L/n). He stuffed his hands in his pockets angrily and didn't pay attention to the people in front of him automatically moving out of his way out of fear.

(Y/n) (L/n), or (Y/n)-Chan as Deku called her when they were children. She'd moved to their elementary school, their fourth year. She was very quiet, but did ask the teachers questions that usually benefited the class. Not to mention, she had a quirk that was a direct contrast to his own, which he noticed right away.

Bakugou would never admit it, but he could've honestly seen himself become friends, or at least acquainted, with (L/n) at the time. Honestly, if it hadn't been for stupid Deku, they probably would've been.

But because of that quirkless bastard, she chose him instead.

For some reason, that really got his blood boiling. Why would she want to be friends with someone so useless and weak than someone strong like himself? It didn't make any sense, and he never got his answer.

He wasn't looking for one either. In fact, he'd rather never see her face again.

Now, they went to the same hero school, and it was possible that they'd run into each other. Sweat appeared on his palms, which he didn't notice.

Despite going to the same school, it appeared unlikely that they would. After all, she wasn't in his class and he hadn't noticed her prior to the mix of students in some after school tutorial. Not to mention, he was pretty sure she was hanging around 1-B kids, AKA 1-A's inferior copy.

He entered his classroom in a grumpy mood and took a seat alongside his peers that were scattered about before class started. Without caring about it, he raised his legs over the seat of the chair belonging to the desk in front of him, which belonged to Deku, as he had in middle school.

He closed his red eyes, somewhat tired from staying up to catch up on classwork that he didn't have time to complete over the weekend until the very last minute. Well, it was more he didn't remember because of his busy mind, but he'd never say that.

If he didn't stay focused, then he could fall behind, and there was no way he would be falling behind when he's in the same class as motherfucking Deku.

He hardly payed attention to the constant yelling from that four eyes with the engine, but did keep an ear open.

"Everyone! We must settle down, class is set to begin any minute now!"

"Ughhhh. . ."

There was a unanimous groan, but they complied. Their distaste for Monday showed.

On cue, the huge 1-A door opened to present their scruffy, depressing looking teacher who actually walked into the class somewhat normally, with a bit of a hunch in his strut.

Alright, it was time for Bakugou to get focusing and forget all about that idiot girl.

". . . Morning," Aizawa-Sensei greeted in a low but audible murmur. "Oh, by the way, we have a new student in 1-A" he added casually.

The class stared.

And stared.

"WHAT?!" they all shouted.

Aizawa rose an eyebrow. "What's with that delayed reaction?"

The announcement certainly brought their energy back up, and everyone was shouting questions at once. It was getting kind of rowdy, actually.

The teacher sighed. "One at a time. We don't have all day."

Iida raised his hand.

"You."
