This chapter is unintentionally long af. I'd split it into another chapter but WATTPAD DOESN'T LET ME COPY AND PASTE AND I'M NOT WRITING FROM SCRATCH. So a couple things happen.... I'll make the next ones better 😢

Descp: The kids return, and life is back in tip top shape. Just kidding, it's terrible.

THE CLASS WAS full of chatter once people returned as they discussed their experiences during their internship.

"Did that really happen?" Todoroki tilted his head.

"Yes, it was on the news," Iida nodded to him, then looked at (L/n). "Though I didn't expect you to be the one who'd been kidnapped."

(L/n) was exasperated, and slouched in her seat next to the group of Iida, Todoroki, and Midoriya. She didn't realize how frustrating it was to be so looked down upon, until it occurred beforehand.

Todoroki glanced between them and her, and leaned in curiously. "So... does that mean you're Hawks' secret love child-"

"Am not," (L/n) made an X with her arms. "I've been bombarded by the media and I'm about to lose my mind, so I'd rather you guys stay quiet if you can, please. I'll stay quiet about your own predicament."

Iida rose his eyebrows. "How did you know?"

She didn't need to say anything before Iida and Todoroki's gaze went straight to Midoriya, who was sweating in shame and avoiding eye contact. "It-It slipped out!" he whisper yelled, making a wall between he and the two. "I'm sorry!"

The class representative just sighed, but looked back at (L/n) and smiled. The girl was trustworthy, and wouldn't want to do any harm to them, that much was clear. "Very well. Let's both agree not to say anything then. I'm glad you at least came out of it safe."

"Yes, likewise. Midoriya had me worried sick," she closed her eyes, sleepy.

"Eep-My bad! I didn't mean to," he apologized frantically.

"Don't worry about," she said. It was nice to know she still cared about Midoriya, and wanted him to be safe. Maybe she loved him too, although platonically, though that would be a hassle. She didn't quite expirience these emotions the same way, they were still present and just as important as anyone else's. (L/n) still had a hard time accepting that though.

At some point, other classmates wandered up to her.

"How about yours, (L/n)? What did you guys do?" Uraraka chirped as some girls flocked to her desk, and the conversation between her and the other boys separated as she was left to talk to some of them.

"Hey, Kiri said you gave him his number, that's no fair! Why didn't you tell me?" Ashido whined.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I can give it to you after class," (L/n) apolagized. "And as for me and Tokoyami..."

Gloom.

On the final day of the internship, Tokoyami revealed to her that Hawks seemed to only take on students to ask about the League of Villains, and the two were upset when they learned nothing. The only consolation they got were free Hawks T-Shirts that (L/n) used as a dress for Rigoberto when she returned.

"It was entertaining. I can see why he made it to the top in such little time," (L/n) claimed. That was as much as she could bare saying about him, just remembering the guy made her blood boil. Maybe she'd kill him some day and spit on his grave.

"Oh, your face got all scary for a second!" squeaked Hakagure, snapping the (h/c)nette back to reality.

"What? No, there was just a bug," (L/n) laughed it off.
