I understand that there's a lot of you out there who believe that the Rosario+Vampire manga was better than the anime. I can believe that, I can understand that, I just choose to view them as two different timelines.
The reason I'm making this fanfiction is because of this very 'split timeline' belief of mine, and how too damn alike the two timelines are, even though the anime ended on far less of a cliffhanger than the manga.
I think a few of us can believe that Tsukune could have done a lot better than Moka, what, with the whole 'blood-sucking' business and all. He loved her, I get it, but with the way the manga went, focusing on those two characters so much that the others were almost inconsequential really pissed me off. That and with the way the creators built the manga, my mild recreation of the story would have been too hard to build around it.
That's why I chose the anime for my re-adaptation.
As many of you can guess, the Dark Jedi Male Reader, otherwise known as (Your Name) Argus, or Brother Overhaul(I'll be explaining later on.), is replacing Tsukune's MC role in the anime entirely. That was my intent. I believed that somethings could have been made better.
And given the fact that I've read the manga, likely just like the rest of you, and seen your opinions of the anime, I figured, 'why potentially butcher something amazing? Why not make some attempt at fixing something that most people view as crap with some kind of crossover?'
Well... part of that may not be true.
I don't really care if I fix the plot of the anime or not. I'm just doing this for fun. I believed my waifu of both R+V realities didn't get what she deserved, and I figured I'd give her what I believed she deserved with this fanfiction. If I fix the plot while having a little fun, then good for me. If not, then that's okay too.
That's all. I just want to try and give my favorite character of the R+V plot what I believe she deserves. I understand that everyone is entitled to their opinions, and you are more than free to voice them, just please don't turn it into an internet war. I've seen those happen before, and I want no part in one.

Location: Christophsis - Caves
I hear something. From the cave.
(Y/N) - M-master Kestis... did you hear that?
(Cal) - Yes, Y/N. It calls to you.
(Y/N) - The cave?
(Cal) - Yes. You must enter. Alone.
I hear something again. A little louder this time.
(Y/N) - Master... I'm... afraid...
(Cal) - Control your fear. You are my apprentice. If you can handle the pain you went through before I found you, then you can handle this. I believe in you. You can beat this.
(Y/N) - Master... what's in there?
(Cal) - Only what you take with you, apprentice. Only what you take with you. Now go. I believe in you. Your final test before your true training is at hand. Trust only in the force.
With hardened resolve, I face the cave, and begin to walk.
(Y/N) - Yes, Master.
