I turned around and saw him and Kai peering through the window on door. I looked back at Mattia as he quickly grabbed my hand, we started running down the stairs as we heard the door open.

Kai: Alex stop!
They were chasing us up and down each flight of stairs until we finally ran out of energy, we stopped and sat on one of the flights as Alex stopped where we were, Kairi came running  jumped on his back.
Kai: I'm not gonna let you mess their relationship up Ale!
He had his hands over Alejandro's mouth as he was trying his hardest to get Kai off his back, he eventually did and began dusting himself off.
Kai: Don't do this! Please!

As Alejandro turned to face us, Mattia put his arm around me and eyed him.
Alejandro: I hate seeing y'all together.
Hearing those words made my anger boil over, I stood up.
You: Why?
He got close to me as he spoke.
Alejandro: Because you're not supposed to be with Mattia, you're supposed to be with me.
Mattia then stood up as Kairi jumped on Alex's back and started hitting him again. Mattia waited a bit before he got them separated, he really tried to stay as calm as he possibly could.

Mattia: Why the fuck would you say that now? Because you know that we're finally happy together? Or because you know you fucked up what you had with her?
Ale stayed quiet as Mattia turned to face me again.
Mattia: Do you wanna go back to class?
I nodded and kissed his cheek before I started walking back to class, then I got this gut feeling that I should stay because something was going to happen.

Mattia's POV

I really didn't wanna fight with him, he's one of my best friends. But I will not stand for him trying to get in the way of my relationship with Y/n. Kai came and stood next to me, his small arms crossed as we both snickered at Alex.

Kai: I told you not to say anything.
You: Why the fuck did you say that to her?
He looked down at his feet.
Alex: I still have feelings for her!
My rage was already building from before, and I knew Kai could tell it was getting worse because he stood in between the two of us.

Kai: You're the one that cheated.
Alex: I know! I know, and I fucking hate myself more and more everyday because of it! She's literally the first girl I've had feelings like this for in forever! And seeing her happy with Mattia makes me wonder if she would've been that happy with me.
I balled my hand into a fist and took a single deep breath, thinking hard about what my response would be.
You: You should've been smarter about that then, it's too late for you.
Alejandro: What if it isn't?
Kai slowly moved out of my way as I began walking up to a now cocky and aggravating Alex.

You: You better not even try to do anything to or with her, or I will fuck you up. And I put that on my mama.
He scoffed and got in my face.
Alejandro: You won't do shit.
He shoved me, and at that moment all my anger that was building up inside of me was about to pop. I raised my fist and was about to swing, and then I saw her walk out from behind the wall just behind him, she leaned against the wall and was just looking at us. I slowly lowered my fist as she got closer and closer, Alejandro looked at her as she walked past him.

Y/n: Please don't do this... it's not worth it...
You: I know baby, I know.
I pulled her into a hug and she held on so tight, I know she's mad at him, but I also she'd never wanna see him hurt. Especially not by one of his own friends. I looked at Kai and Alex whilst still in the hug and saw Kai was telling him something.

Kairi's POV

You: Can't you see how fucking happy they are?! I'm sorry that you wish she was with you or whatever, but you had the option to be with her like he's with her and you chose to cheat.
He placed his face in his hands and took a deep breath before lifting his head once more.
Ale: I feel like such an idiot, but I can't help how I feel.
I rolled my eyes and let out a sigh.
Kai: Well start helping how you feel because I'm not gonna let you ruin this for Mattia, I won't let that happen to him again.
