I hugged my friends for the last time before getting into my car and driving to the airport. I tried so hard not to think about my parents, they were both so sad this morning. I'm gonna miss this place so much, but this is for the best. I played some music while I drove to distract myself and it worked for a while, but as I pulled up to the airport, I started getting the feeling of homesickness. I really can't believe I'm leaving this place, like really leaving.

I moped around for a minute or two before I got my shit together and got out of the car. I grabbed my suitcase and my backpack from my trunk and headed into the airport.

After checking my bag and going through security, I grabbed a red bull and some chips and waited at my gate for my plane to board. I looked at the time, 5:45 am, this is too early for me. I was startled a little when Robert FaceTimed me.
You: Hi Rob.
Rob: Hey Y/n, we're all super excited to see you.
You: Same here, tell everyone I say hi and that I can't wait to see you guys.
Kairi grabbed the phone.
Kairi: Hi Y/n, we miss you!
You: I miss you too kai. I'll be there soon.

He held the phone out so I could see everyone, I waved before I hung up, now I had to go board the plane. This flight wasn't very long, at least it didn't feel like it was very long. I landed in New Jersey about 5 hours later and was so exhausted by the time I left the plane.

I started walking to the gate and immediately saw all the guys waiting at the barrier, I smiled. As I got closer, they recognized me. I could hear spurts of their words as the doors opened and closed, they're so loud. At last I made it to them and was immediately trampled with hugs.
You: Hi guys!

The hugs continued to come as a sudden burst of energy began to flow through me sort of an adrenaline rush. We all started walking to baggage claim but were stopped a couple times along the way by some fans that wanted pictures with the boys, I told them that I was gonna grab my bag and that I'd meet them by the exit.

I went down the escalator and pulled out my phone and noticed a bunch of messages from Janessa.

I didn't respond and put my phone in my pocket, I'm normally not the type to ignore people, but this was an exception. I got my bag and waited by the door for the boys for a couple of minutes, scrolling through TikTok and messaging my friends here and there.

I glanced up for a moment and saw them running towards me, a hoard of girls followed them. I held onto my bag as they approached me and started running as well, we stopped at Alejandro's car and they got in as fast as they could. I threw my bag in the trunk and climbed over all the guys in the backseat, I laid across them for a moment as Ale began to drive. I don't think I've ever seen someone drive out of a parking garage as fast as he did.

We escaped the girl mob and drove to Roberts house, we didn't do much talking, but they asked a couple questions every once and a while.
Rob: How was your flight?
You: It was smooth, hardly any turbulence.
Kairi: We're just glad you made it here safely.
He smiled.
You: Same here, I'm just so glad to be off that plane.

We pulled up to Roberts house after about 10 minutes and all got out of the car, Mattia finally came up to me.

Mattia: Hey.
You: Oh now you decide to talk to me?
I smiled and pulled him into a hug, he hugged me back and picked me up off the ground. Out of all the boys, with the exception of Rob since he's my cousin, Mattia's would have to be my favorite. He and I immediately clicked and I became closest with him, closer than I am with any of the other boys.

He put me down and just smiled at me as I grabbed my bag from the trunk. Alejandro came up to me after I got my bag out and put his arm around my shoulders.

Ale: I've got a secret to tell you.
You: Ouu do tell.
Ale: So ya know Mattia?
We both looked over at him as he and Kai laughed, I looked back at Ale.
You: Nooooo, I dOnT.
He rolled his eyes.
You: What about him?
Ale: Let's just sayyyyyyy, he's gots a lil crush.
You: Ouuuu on who?
He looked at me with a completely straight face.
Ale: Omg read between the lines.

Suddenly it hit me, how could I have been so stupid before!
You: On me?!
He nodded slightly.
You: Omg, no way.
Ale: I'm dead serious. I'll tell you more once you're settled in.

We walked into the house and my aunt Carla immediately pushed her way through the boys and came and gave me a hug.
Carla: Y/n! Look how much you've grown! And so beautiful!
You: Thank you so much for letting me stay here!
Carla: Of course! Let me show you to your room.
