Your POV

The doorbell rang and Robert went to get it.
Rob: Hey— uhh who are you?
Janessa: I'm janessa, Kairi's date? Is he here?
Roshaun: I thought you said no dates?
Kairi: I changed my mind.
Robert walked with her into the house, I looked over a Kai who looked utterly terrified. She walked in wearing a stunning pink dress covered in lace flowers with white heels,

she looked beautiful. She immediately ran up to me and pulled me into her embrace.
Nessa: Oh Y/n, you look so beautiful!
She cheesed as I hugged her back.
You: It's nice to see you Nessa, you look incredible.
I let go of her and watched as a nervous Kairi approached, he hugged her tightly as we all shot him a thumbs up from behind her. He put her little courage on and smiled with a bright red face, Mattia and I looked at each other.

Mattia: There goes our son.
I giggled.
You: He's all grown up.
I frowned although I was beyond happy for him, nothing could ruin this moment.

Then the doorbell rang again and Robert went to get it once again, he walked back into the room with an extremely beautiful girl.
Alex: Katie!

So this is her.

She was in a beautiful black off the shoulder long sleeve dress with silver heels,

we all smiled at her as Alex took her into his embrace.
Carla: Ok everyone, when are your parents getting here?
Mattia: Mine are coming now.
Alex: They should be here any minute.
Kai: My moms on her way.
Alvaro: Same
Carla studied us all for a minute or so, then smiled a sweet smile.
Carla: You all look great, really. Can I get a group photo before everyone's parents arrive?
We all nodded and posed as she snapped about a million pics on her phone.

As parents arrived, we all got to chat and occasionally took some pics. Mattia's parents had he and I posing pretty much the whole time, his mom even started crying at one point.
Mattia: Mama, Cosa c'è che non va? (Mom, what's wrong?)
Mrs. Polibio: Siete tutti cresciuti ora... (You're all grown up now...)
He pulled her into a hug as his dad pulled me aside.
Mr. Polibio: Can I tell you a secret Y/n?
You: Of course you can sir.
Mr. Polibio: You're the only girl Mattia's ever brought home that I love with all my heart.
I felt myself about to cry but held it in as best I could as he continued to speak.
Mr. Polibio: If he messes this up, I'll be so mad at him.
You: You and me both sir.
He cracked up at that.
Mr. Polibio: You're a good girl Y/n, thank you for putting up with my son.
I smiled.
You: Thank you for creating him.

We both smiled as Mattia approached and his dad
walked away.
Mattia: What was that about?
You: Don't worry about it, I'll tell you later.
He smiled as the car pulled up, we said bye to all the parents and crammed into said car. We pulled up to the school about 10 minutes later and made quite the entrance, but we had to wait in a very long line. I got a chance to talk to Katie and Janessa while we waited.
You: You both look lovely.
Nessa: Says you, look at you! You're perfect!
Katie: Thank you, you look amazing as well.
You: Thanks. Are you guys excited to be here?
Katie shook her head.
Katie: I'm here all the time, I hate it.
You: Definitely felt that.
She and I giggled as Janessa just looked around.
Nessa: Sorry, I'm having a fan girl moment.
We giggled again and moved with the line but continued talking.
Katie: I wonder what's gonna happen this year.
You: What do you mean?
Katie: Oh, you don't know? Last year there was a whole bunch of drama that went down with Kayla Cartwright and Lola Peterman.
You: No way. What happened with them?
Katie: Well it started back in the first month of school last year, Lola was hit with a car, Kayla's car. She was walking out of a football game with her boyfriend when Kayla just decided to run her over. So at homecoming, as a way of seeking revenge, Lola keyd the car and slashed the tires. They both got into a huge fight which basically ignited a brawl—

She stopped and handed the ticket staff her ticket and walked with Janessa and I as she continued.
Katie: They ignited a brawl at the dance, it was like a riot! I'm hoping some tea like that happens again.
We all giggled again before going our separate ways with our dates, Mattia came and hugged me from behind as we walked in.

Mattia: Are you gonna pay attention to me now?
I faced him as he frowned and ruffled his fluffy hair.
You: Yes you big baby, I was just talking to the girls because I want girl friends. I'm only friends with those losers.
I pointed at the table everyone was at and Alvaro looked at me with his arms in a shrugging position.
Alvaro: Ok wtf?
I giggled as Mattia and I sat down. The dance was most my boring because nobody really moved, everyone just sat there on their phones, myself included. I kept making videos of me with everyone I knew and even some people I didn't know. There was a moment, however, where I had to punch a guy in the face for getting too friendly. By that I mean he kept putting his hands where they... WEREN'T NEEDED. But that's not super important, the real important part was the after parties. Now that's where shit got poppin.

A.N: So I'm actually so dumb and I deleted this chapter by accident when I was trying to delete a different one so I had to reupload. I'm so sorry💀
