The girls stopped directly in front of Mattia and I and looked me up and down. Cynthia: I've been waiting to do this for so long. She took he hoops off and placed them in Emily's hand before facing me again. She raised her fist as if she was about to hit me so I hugged into Mattia's body and we bracing for impact. But her hand was held in place as she screamed, Mattia and I looked up so see Michelle pinning Cynthia's hand behind her back.
Michelle: You need to stop, she's just trying to be happy with her boyfriend and you're the one getting in the way. She was whimpering and shrieking as her arm was pulled farther and farther up. Cynthia: You're hurting me! She cried out once again. Cynthia: FINE! I'll stop! Just please let me go! Michelle released her and allowed her to fall to the ground, holding her arm.
Michelle stepped over her and walked up to me. Michelle: I'm so sorry for everything we've put you through, really from the bottom of my heart I'm sorry. I smiled at her. You: It's ok. She smiled back at me and Mattia and I left, we didn't do much after we left, we just went to his house and watched a couple movies.
Monday
We walked into school, hand in hand, dressed in as much school spirit gear we had. We walked up to the group of boys dressed just as ridiculous as we were. You: Did we go a little too crazy? They all shook their heads. Kai: All seniors are dressed like this today. I looked around and saw a lot of people dressed the same way we were. Mattia: It's already senior night, wtf? Robert: Were gonna be graduating in 3 weeks.
Holy shit, I'm graduating in 3 weeks. My parents aren't gonna be here when I graduate... I need to call my mom.
You: I'll be right back. I walked away from the group and pulled out my phone to call my mom, she picked up after a while. Mom: Hello? You: Hi mommy. Mom: Hi honey, what's up? You: Umm I just wanted to make sure you and dad are gonna be here for graduation in a few weeks. She stayed silent for a second, I could barely hear her talking to my dad. Mom: Of course we'll be there honey, we wouldn't miss your graduation even if you don't live here. I smiled to myself and let out a sigh of relief. You: Ok good, that makes me less worried. Mom: Just focus on getting everything done and ready for graduation, we love you and we'll seen you soon!
I hung up the phone and smiled the whole way back to the group. Mattia: You ok? I nodded my head and rested it against his arm, the morning went by slower than usual, each class dragged on and felt as if it would never end.
By the time lunch came around I was exhausted and stressed, finals preparations are so hard. I put my head down on the table as I sat next to Kairi and rested my eyes for a minute, he started gently stroking my back. Kai: Don't be stressed, it'll all be over soon. You: I just wanna go to bed. He and I laughed a bit. Kai: Are your parents coming to graduation? I nodded as I raised my head. You: They said they wouldn't miss it. Kai: And I can finally meet them?? I nod. You: I'm scared for them to meet Mattia. Kai: Why? You: I don't know, they've just never liked my boyfriends in the past, I really want them to like him. Kai places his hand atop mine and shot me a reassuring smile. Kai: They'll like him, trust me. Mattia always makes a good first impression. I smiled as I squeezed his hand, he always makes me feel better.
The boys came and sat at the table a while after the conversation I had with Kai and I noticed Katie and Alex weren't with the group. You: Where's— Alvaro: They're making out. How did he— You: Oh. How do you know? Alvaro: I don't wanna talk about it. We all laughed a bit and just talked about what we're all gonna do after graduation until the end of lunch. Mattia walked with me and Kai to our next class and hugged me tightly before he left. Mattia: Let's meet up? You: We can, just text me when. Kai: Get a room. We bother rolled our eyes at him and pecked each other's lips before I walked into class.
