I walked into school as I normally would and felt a completely different vibe than normal, something was off today. I tried to shake whatever I was feeling but I couldn't, there was a feeling like something was going to happen. Is that thing good or bad? Hard to say, I just know somethings going to happen.

Oh my god, I forgot to introduce myself! Hi, I'm Y/n. I'm 16 years old and I live in the great state of California, San Diego to be exact.

I've recently had the luck of blowing up on TikTok, not sure how I did it, but I finally was passed the hype torch! Since my small rise in "fame," everyone's been a lot nicer to me, like a lot. It's weird, people I wouldn't normally talk to are just coming up to me and acting like we've known each other for years.

One girl in particular, her name is Janessa. She's literally the ruler of the school, she's the girl all the guys want and all the girls wanna be. She started inviting me to hang out with her and her friends, wanna know why? She thinks my friend is cute, i think you'd know who I'm talking about. His names Mattia Polibio, he's relatively popular on TikTok. She's always asking me to set her up with him but I never do.

But anyways, enough of that, back to today. I went into my first period class and sat in the back like I usually do, waiting for Janessa and her friend group to come in because if I'm being honest, they're the only people I know and care to talk to in this class. They walked in and sat right next to me, Janessa faced me with a smile.

Janessa: Sooooo hows it goin Y/n?
You: Today's seems a little off but other than that it's pretty good. How's it going for you?
Janessa: Really good actually, have you told Mattia about me?
I nodded although I hadn't, she smiled.
Janessa: And?? Does he want my snap?
I shook my head.
You: He said he's not ready for a relationship yet because he's still getting over this girl, but he said he'll let me know when he's ready and I'll let you know.

Her expression dropped as she nodded slightly before facing her friends. I know she doesn't really like me, she only talks to me because of him, I don't care honestly. I'm just patiently waiting for this week to be over so I don't have to see any of these people ever again.

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that I'm moving out to New Jersey at the end of this week? Yeah, my cousin Robert and his family are letting me move in with them for financial reasons. It's also easier since I was planning on attending college in New Jersey anyways.

The rest of the morning went by slow, this week was finals week and the classes were extra long. Lunch came around eventually and I met up with my friends, Jackie and Nicole.

Jackie: Is Janessa still bothering you about Mattia?
You: Everyday. I refuse to tell him about her because I know he wouldn't like her.
Nic: I still can't believe you're friends with the New Jersey boys! Like all of them!
I giggled a little.
You: It's truly a dream come true.
I looked at their smiling faces and knew that it was time to tell them that I'm moving.
You: Umm, there's something I've actually been meaning to talk to you guys about...
They looked at me concerned.
Jackie: What is it?
You: I'm moving at the end of the week...
They both frowned.
Jackie: We're gonna miss you so much Y/n, we love you with all that we got.
You: I'm gonna miss you too Kiki.
I hugged them both and tried my hardest not to get emotional, Nic tried making us all laughed.
Nic: Hey, at least now you'll have a chance to get with Mattia instead of Janessa.

I giggled a tiny bit, the assumptions that girl makes. We were taken by surprise when we heard yelling from down the hall. We ran to go see what was going on. When we turned the corner, there was a hug group of people in a circle that seemed to be surrounding a fight, I pushed my way through the crowd and saw that some girl was beating the hell out of Janessa.

I couldn't help but cheer for her because it was something that needed to be done a long time ago, security came shortly after and broke up the fight. Kiki and Nic started laughing and I joined them, although nobody ever deserves to get their ass beat, I'm glad out of everyone it was Janessa.
