He gently grabbed both of my hands and grazed his thumbs across my fingers, I could tell he was just as nervous as I was. He took a single deep breath before we made the most intense eye contact either of us had ever made.
Mattia: Ok, I think I'm finally ready to tell you. Ever since the first moment I ever met you, I thought you were an amazing and beautiful soul. Getting to know you, the real you, has been amazing. I honestly felt like I was starting to fall for you, and I was hoping that maybe you'd fall for me too. Then when you and Alejandro started talking and it felt like I lost a part of myself, like he knew that I had feelings for you and just did what was best for him. I really hoped he wouldn't play you like he did with everyone else, I guess he was gonna do it no matter what... Seeing you hurt like you were tonight honestly broke me because you definitely deserve better than he was going to give you, you deserve to be #1 priority.
I smiled at him again. Everything began hitting me all at once, this is where I should've been all along. I wasted my time with the wrong person, my love on the wrong person. I squeezed his hands slightly.
You: I wish you would've told me sooner because I wouldn't have even messed around with him. I would've loved to get with you... He let go and scratched the back of his head in a nervous way, then he jumped up and stood in front of me. Mattia: Let's go out, like on a date, a real date. I promise you won't regret it. I jumped up just as he had a moment before. You: Let's do it. He smiled a bright and lively smile before he kissed me again, he smiled in between each one. My stomach got tighter and tighter with every movement of our lips. I think I've found everything I want.
Authors note: Ok for starters, I'm sorry this chapter was so short, I just really didn't know what else to write about after Mattia asked her out so I was like fuck it this hoes gonna be short lol. I hope this doesn't disappoint anyone, I was rooting for them too, but there needed to be tea somewhere and that was the perfect (and most believable) scenario. I think the next chapter should be their date, not sure tho. Maybe I'll make hem go to Coachella???
