"Fight," I called out to Jade before I turned my back on her and stepped forward to meet my first opponent.

Three Qwen stepped forward at once.

Three?

That was what they thought would defeat me?

I rolled my eyes and twirled my spear in my hand. They glared at me.

So naive.

I brought the spear in one Qwen's direction. He gulped, not knowing I was just toying with my prey. I brought the spear in another Qwen's direction. His hands flew to his heart. As if I was going to waste my time on him. I could already tell he is the weakest and so I would deal with him later.

As for the last one... Reading her body language I could tell she was about to lunge for me. Guess she didn't know I could read body language...

I sidestepped and casually pierced her neck with my spear. I knew the other two Qwen were coming, so quickly I pulled my spear back out and turn to face them.

They froze, caught in the middle of sneaking up on me. I almost laughed.

Lightning quick I threw the spear at one's head. Not waiting to see if he died, I started fighting with the other. This one was the stronger one, I threw the spear knowing that weaker one was too dumb to duck.

The Qwen and I circled each other, both waiting for the other to attack. Then he lunged.

Unfortunately he didn't know the rule of fighting-- the first who attacks loses. It's simple but true.

I sidestepped.

The Qwen lunged again. So... these Qwen were still underestimating me. Honestly...

As the Qwen reached forward with his sword I grabbed his wrist, holding his arm immobile. He struggled, trying to make me release him, but very unfortunately that made me accidentally break his wrist.

Crack.

He yelled in pain but sadly, I was merciless. I pressed harder and he screamed. But I was bored and tired of waiting, so I held his head with my hands and snapped his worthless neck. His shrieks faded to a dull murmur. Sick.

Onto the next Qwen then. No... this would end much faster if I used my powers. While I was lost in thought pain greeted me on the back of my forearm. I hissed in anger and looked up to see the Qwen who did it.

I couldn't really feel the pain.

It was a young Qwen who was looking at me with scared, fearful eyes. He could have killed me before, but he didn't. He showed mercy to me. It was a shame that the Qwen were sending such young warriors out to battle.

I should show mercy back, I realized. But very sadly, I was a sadist, a ruthless killer. I shrugged at him nonchalantly as if we were having a casual discussion instead of being enemies on a battlefield. As his eyes widened and he thought I was leaving him alive, I beheaded him.

Sorry to everyone who would be sad for him. This was the best apology anyone would ever get from me.

I continued fighting, ignoring the slight pain in my sword arm, but as I ventured onwards, the pain grew and demanded to be felt. No, no. I must ignore it. It would take too much energy to heal it.

I made another kill.

Then I felt unease.

Jade.

No... Jade was fine... right?

I looked wildly around for her. I could just feel it in my soul, Jade was in trouble. A few Qwen came over but I was not there for them.

My sister.

I slashed my sword and decapitated all four. I kept looking for Jade, which was why I didn't notice there was a Qwen near me until a flash of light blocked my path.

Oh, a Light Qwen.

Never block my path to my sister.

I throttled her with a noose made of my shadows. Ignoring her gulps for air I continued my search.

I found about a hundred Qwen in a circle around something.

Jade.

No.

I ran towards them as quick as I could, teleporting nearer with Darkness.

Jade...

Jade.

JADE.

She was not fine.

I just knew that she was the prey those Qwen are surrounding.

Faster.

I had to get to her before that sword hit its mark.
