Brantley's POV

I could hardly sleep last night, I was too excited. I just want to see my girl. I was sort of kicking myself in the ass for not going sooner. But I was going now and that's what matters. PJ was helping me load my bags in the truck. I also had to pack up the saddle bags with some things. The sun was shining, no rain from here to Nashville.

"About ready?" PJ asked as I closed up the saddle bag.

"Yes sir." I smiled. I was about to jump out of my skin. I just wanted to be there. I turned my hat backwards and put my sun glasses on. "Did you throw the gas jug in the bed of the truck?" I asked.

"Yep. Don't need a repeat of last time..." PJ glared at me. Kolby and I went riding and the gas gauge was broken. Long story short I ran out of gas and PJ had to save my ass.

"I fixed the gauge!" I laughed.

"Mhmm.." PJ laughed. "I hope so." We around and made sure the house was locked up before we took off to Nashville. The ride was nice. We made it to the hotel close to 2pm. MacKenzie's release party wasn't until 7pm. PJ and I got everything up to the room and decided to go get food. We had so much fun sneaking around town pretending like MacKenzie was around every corner. I refused to go sit down to eat somewhere in fear of someone seeing and ruining the surprise. When we got back to the hotel my phone went off. I looked down to see it was from MacKenzie.

Mac: Hey babe.

B: Hey darling? How's your day going?? Are you excited? Your song drops tonight.

Mac: It's going. I'm finally sitting for the first time in 4 hours. And yes I'm very excited, I had my very first sound check today!!!! It was soo much fun!

B: Now just imagine that but like 50,000 more people. Because baby, I'm telling you, you're gonna sell out shows.

Mac: Psssssh. You have to say stuff like that...lol

B: True but it doesn't make it any less valid.

Mac: You're not wrong.

B: So which song did you end up picking for the single??

Mac: Lol you'll have to go on iTunes and buy it to find out.

B: OH REALLY!?!?!?!

Mac: YES SIR!

B: Alright I see what game you're playing.

Mac: NOT a game.

B: We will see about that won't we darlin'.

I sat there texting MacKenzie until I needed to start getting ready. I was hoping to get a nap in but I was happy to spend the time talking to her. After my shower, I got dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a black button down shirt with a wife beater underneath. I rolled my sleeves up then pulled my boots on. I grabbed my ball cap and the bike keys.

"Have a good time boss. I'll talk to you later." PJ laughed while I walked out the door.

"Later PJ!" I yelled back.

I got on the bike leaving the hotel to go to the release party. I got there just as 7pm hit. Which means her song was now on iTunes. I quickly pulled it up on my phone, downloading the song and listening to it before walking in. It was amazing. I'm not sure why she doubts her abilities. It's clear now this was what she was born to do. I put my phone back in my pocket then headed inside. I quickly went to find Rachel who told me where I could find MacKenzie.
