Chapter Twelve

Avery didn't come out of his room. He also didn't talk to me when we bumped into each other yesterday.

It's been three days since we came back and Avery was no where close to forgiving me. I also grunted whenever I checked my contact and saw Vladimir.

I contemplated deleting his number but my excuse every time was that he was expecting me to delete and would call me when he was sure.

Everyday, I would check my phone hoping for a missed call from him but I never did. Maybe he took what I said seriously, maybe his found another human to keep him happy.

Ugh! Why does the thought of it makes me feel irritated?

"I'm gonna get very that vampire!" I told Melody who laughed her socks off before she took a smoke of her cigarette and huffed slowly.

"So you called me to..."

"Search for me the best hygienic and gay club in town."

"Aye, Aye one nightstand." She said before she started searching in her laptop.

"Your not surprised I'm gay?"

"Nope. Also you've had sex with way more girls than I can count so I'll say your bi. Plus my younger brother likes boys." She explained making me nod in understanding standing.

"I'm sending you the address and the information of the people who are currently in the club. It's self updating, so take your time and pick the one your going to swoon in on." She said with an excited grin before she playfully saluted and cut the call.

Picking out an outfit was difficult but I found the right one. A designer shirt, jeans and Nike sneakers. I rolled up the sleeves making it more presentable before I styled my hair and then headed to the club.

The club was full and had many interesting people. I was also surprised that some females were here but most of them were lesbians, not that it matters.

I walked towards the bartender and asked for a bottle of beer before I turned and started looking at the people dancing as I took my drink.

"The club is really lively." I said as I took a sip before I turned to see a female who had been looking at me with a flustered face before she looked away.

Weird. I thought as I took another sip before I stood up from where I was sitting and walked up to her.

"Nice dress." I complimented and she smiled before pulling her hair behind her ears.

"For a vampire." I added before her heart froze and then she looked at me in surprise.

"Your a hunter. Funny, I thought my disguise was perfect." She said seductively before I drank my beer, avoiding staring into her eyes so she doesn't compel me.

"It is but some of you enjoy the scent of blood that you forget wipe out your meal. Plus what kind of vampire orders for a bloody Mary." I said before she laughed at my amazing sense of humor.

"I like you." She said before I dropped a picture on the table.

She took it and then studied it before she snickered and then gave me a charmed smile.

"Tell me everything you know about the people who murdered my family?" I asked before she tore the picture to confetti piece and then took a drink.

"Well they go by the name, blood bite. That man is or rather was their leader. Been missing for almost ten years. His gang work independently and trust me they are one group all vampires except the council avoid. They kidnap humans, enslave and sell them. They kidnap young children as blood and sex slaves and turn humans into vampires and starve them to death painfully." She explained before taking another sip of her drink.
