Adonis
Death was such a cold place. It wasn't warm and it wasn't loved. It was full of despair, sadness, regret and no looking back. When I had felt death, I thought I was gone for good but something brought me back. A warm light that was giving me a second chance. When I opened my eyes, I was naked and on a cold surface. I could only smell fire and ashes before the first feeling hit me since I woke up...Thirst.
An unquenchable thirst that made my teeth throb because my ears could pick up the sound of blood being pumped in a body, heart how it was beating in those blood vessels making me thirstier.
Memories from the hunter academy class came back on how newly changed vampires behave and I didn't need a genius to tell me I was a vampire when my canines made my thumb bleed before it quickly healed.
Luckily Vladimir found me before I could attack anyone but I ended up acting on my pure animalistic hunger to tie him down and fuck his brains out till he begged me to stopped so I did.
I smirked at how Vladimir groaned and then looked at me with annoyance written all over his face.
"I feel so sore." He complained before I laughed and kissed his forehead then his lips. I massaged his hips making him to moan as his muscles started to relax.
After hours of lazing around and freaking up, we called a meeting with all my loved ones and friends who thought I was dead. Explaining to them what had happened to me was difficult but all of them were happy that I had survived.
Avery had bawled his eyes out when he felt my presence. He started to apologize for fighting with me and thanking me for not dying to give him the chance. The best part was when I told everyone that I and Vladimir were dating because the look on their faces was hilarious but they still congratulated me.
"So are you still going to be a hunter?" Vladimir asked as he gave me a glass of red wine.
I collected it and took a sip before I realized there was blood inside. "No. Even if I was allowed to be a hunter irrespective of now turning to a vampire, I still won't go." I responded and he looked at me in curiosity.
"Why?"
"Well while I was captured Rachel reviewed some interesting things about my family."
"What do you mean?" Vladimir asked before I took my time and narrated what Rachel had told me about my mother. Vladimir listened attentively his expression not giving away what he was thinking.
"I've always been part vampire from the beginning even though I never inherited the gene. Doing this might be killing a part of the new me and my mother. I finally understand why my mother got along with vampires so right now I want to enjoy being one and be with you." I explained before wrapping my fingers around his own.
"I have more than a century to date this breathtaking hybrid." I said before kissing our joined hands.
"I love you." I said as I hugged him from behind and leaned my head on his shoulder.
"I hope we're not adopting any kids?" He asked before I laughed really hard.
"I raised Avery, I know what it's like. So no time soon." I responded with a smile on my face.
I was so glad that all was going to be well from now on...I hope.
