Vladimir
After wiping out the organization and cleaning up the bodies of the men that died from the body, we were going to pass judgement on Rachel.Adonis died from a special poison Rachel had been making to use as a biological weapon. Avery was in denial of Adonis death and was facing withdrawal. It was painful for him lost of all because he lost the last family he had. I also lost the person that brought out the human in me.
"Rachel Viktor with all the evidence presented to us, do you have any last words before we proclaim your judgement?" I asked but she kept quiet with her eyes on me.
"I accept death but let me tell you this Vladimir...Supreme leader is watching. His always watching." She said softly before she hung her head down in defeat.
"Then with nothing left to say..." I stood up and looked at the council members whose chairs surrounded this hall with Rachel in the center nodded. "I, Vladimir Grey, head of the council, convict you Rachel Viktor to death for crimes of terrorism, murder and trafficking. You will be sentenced to death by the poison you created on the rise of dusk." I said before the soldiers who were behind took her away peacefully.
I sighed before Genesis who was by my right side held my hand and gave me a soft smile.
"Are you okay?" She asked and I nodded before she released my hand.
"Have you cleared the list of children that suffered under Rachel?" I asked and then she gave me a sad smile.
"Yes and the ones with families have been reunited. We've taken care of the situation and given therapy to those greatly affected. I and Heather took in a beautiful red hair, Micah. His getting better with lots of daily therapy and love from us." She informed me and I nodded with appreciation.
After I was done with everything that was required, I walked to where I had kept Adonis body. It was to be cremated today and I had to pick up his stuff since Avery had refused to step anywhere close to someone who wasn't dead. His words not mine.
"Can I have a moment with him?" I requested from the worker in charge of charge of bodies who nodded.
I sat on the table which had the coffin that Adonis body was placed inside. I touched the coffin as the short memories I had of him from when he was a kid to when we were intimate flashed in my mind and I smiled.
"I still think you are the most stubborn, lying of a human I have ever met. You make me feel human and then you die before I can understand these...emotions. You are truly heartless." I sighed before I covered my face. "...But I love you and I wish you were here every single day."
"Usually when people die they say nice things about the person that died but I'm glad to see that I'll actually be missed of I did." I heard a familiar voice I loved to here making me to whip my head backward quickly.
My eyes widened in surprise when I saw Adonis making me stand and wipe my eyes in case if I was not hallucinating. When I opened my eyes, he was gone making me to feel down but I was suddenly hugged from behind by a larger hands.
"I missed you too. You obnoxious vampy." Adonis whispered before I released myself and faced him.
Something about him was difficult. He looked the same but he had lost his tan to a strange paleness I disliked.
"How are you still..." I asked but he interrupted me.
"Alive? I don't even know myself but whatever brought me back turned me to a fucking vampire." He cursed as he opened his mouth, revealing the long canines for sucking blood. "And I'm bloody thirsty."
