I woke up from my alarm clock. I threw it across my room, leaving a dent on my wall. Realizing what I just did, I picked it up and put it back on my dresser. I covered the dent with a sticky note, along with the other sticky notes on the wall. I huffed in annoyance but I came to realization that today was my first day of school!

I got myself ready and dudded myself up for the day. I wore a nice (F/C) t-shirt along with a pair of jeans, accompanied by a pair of Vans. I ate my breakfast and walked my happy-self out the door. Sometimes when I want to be, I can be a morning person.

I walked over to where my bus stop is. Shortly after waiting, it showed up. There were not many kids riding the bus. I am not complaining though. I am not a big fan of talking to annoying people in the morning.

I was looking out the bus window, minding my own business, until I saw a strange luminous house at the corner of my eye. It was a little house, smudged in between two apartment complexes. It was really strange.
(Y'all know what Zim's house looks like, I'm not going into context!😂)
The door from the house opened, but I did not get a chance to see who was there due to the bus driver speeding down the road. After minutes of children getting on the bus, I would have thought this would have been everybody, but then I heard a loud screeching sound from behind the bus. Turning my head, I see a silhouette chasing the large vehicle. "I'M LATE!" The voice yelled out. "WAIT! STOP THE BUS!"

I couldn't help but giggle at the person's voice. When the bus stopped, my face turned from amusement to stunned as I saw the person more close up. I couldn't have been more shocked to see the person.

It was my childhood friend Bib. There was no doubt in my mind.

At first glimpse, he had a colossal head that somehow his neck seemed to hold up. Then his outfit was very noticeable. He had a dark trench coat covering his body. He wore a blue shirt with a face on it accompanied by black jeans and red converse shoes. His cowlick- hair bounced with the wind as he sprinted towards the bus.

The old lady bus driver made a inhuman sound before coming to a complete stop. The boy climbed on the bus, thanking the bus driver repeatedly before he stumbled his way to the rows of seats.

Having to choose over twenty plus seats seemed to be no problem. Of course everyone has their own seat on the bus. It turns out same with Bib. I think you know where this is going. I was sitting in Bib's seat alright.

He walked towards the seat, but before he sat down, he stared at me in pure awkwardness. "Oh-uh-hello." The boy greeted me shyly with a touch of stutter. I wasn't much better either. I returned with a awkward hello. "Do you mind if I sit next to you?" He asked as the bus started to take off. "Nope not at all." I responded, moving my book bag so the trench coat- boy could sit next to me.

We didn't say much at first. I just stared out the window for a little while. I glanced over at him and I saw that Bib was twiddling his fingers and had a flustered face. "I'm sorry if I'm in your seat, I can move if you want." I offered to him but he quickly interjected. "It's fine, most people normally don't sit with me anyways." He told me as he chuckled slightly. "Say, you look kinda familiar. Do I know you from somewhere?" He asked suddenly. I gulped nervously. "I used to go to school here a long time ago but I switched into homeschool." I told him.

The boy sat in thought for a second until I saw his amber eyes lit up. "Wait, are you (Y/N)?" He chimed to me. I nodded with a small grin on my face before he wrapped his arms around me.

"Oh (Y/N) I was so worried about you. I didn't know where you went and- oh my gosh I'm so happy to see you!" The boy admitted to me while I held my breath. I was red from head to toe.

Without another second going by, he let go and swiftly pulled himself away. He was also red. It was sweet. "Sorry (Y/N), I shouldn't have done that." He mumbled as he looked down and fixed his large glasses. "It's fine Bib." I told him. He looked at me with confusion on his face.

"Bib?" He quaked at me. Then he broke into laughter. "It's Dib!" He laughed as I started to join him. "Aw crap! I'm so sorry!" I apologized but he punched my arm playfully. "It's okay, that kinda made my morning." Dib says as our laughter died down. "But seeing you made my day." Dib admits to me, causing me to blush. Realizing what he just said, he started to become quirky. "Wow that sounded really cheesy." Dib giggles. I smiled at him and his awkwardness. I laid my head on his shoulder in a friendly manner. "I'm happy to see you too, Dib. It's been weird without a friend." I told him.

When I lifted my head up, I saw the letters Hi Skool on a very destitute building. "This is where the hustle-'n-bustle is (Y/N)." Dib claimed to me. I was now even more nervous than I was before!

"Oh man," I whispered as the bus doors opened. The weird bus lady turned around and made another monstrous sound. "GeT oFf tHe BuS!!" She roared. We made no effort to hang around, we practically ran off that vehicle.

So every new student must go and get their new student schedule for school and their classes. Dib offered to come up with me to the front office and get my schedule. I said that it would be nice of him to do that. I had no idea where I was going. I only drove past this building, this is my first time being in here. It was rather intimidating, if I must say so. Seeing so many kids my age, looking at me like I was a new food item on the menu. It was really awkward here.

Dib reassured me that he would not leave my side. He even told me that he would be late to class and that he couldn't give a rat crap about it! Dib was really cool.

However when we were walking to the office, some tall fat dude shoved Dib to the side, causing him to knock into the nearest wall. "Gotta new girlfriend freak?" He spat in Dib's face before he took off laughing. I flipped him off as he walked away.

Dib fixes his glasses, not annoyed by the bully. "Are you okay?" I asked him as he straightens his black sleeve. "Yeah I'm okay. Let's go get that schedule before we're late to class." He reassured me. I watched him as he walked on to the office. Why did he not seem to care? Furthermore, why didn't Dib stick up for himself? "You comin'?" Dib asked, making me return to reality. "Yeah sorry I was spacing out." I giggled as I caught up to him.
