Third Person

It was after dark and the lights were turned off in every household of the street. Inside the Membrane household, the only lights that were visible was the GameSlave screen Gaz was playing late at night. Dib Membrane was sound asleep, forgetting to take off his infamous glasses; again.

All was well and calm.

CLUNK. CLUNK.

"DEMONS! DEMONS ARE IN MY ROOM!"
"BE QUIET FATHEAD."

Dib sat up abruptly after being startled by the banging off his bedroom window. He watched as another pebble was thrown at the glass. Dib groans tiredly as he puts on his slippers.

Going over to the window, he opens it but he was hit in the forehead by another pebble. Hissing at the pain, he was met with several apologies and panics from his friend (Y/N).

"(Y/N)?! What're you doing here? It's late!" Dib asks, startled by his friend. (Y/N) nods frantically, quickly glancing behind her shoulder. "I need to talk to you, it's about Zim! Please I need to know something about him!" (Y/N) begs to Dib. He only huffs. "Why so you can use me? As if! I'm not falling for your games (Y/N)." Dib taunts. (Y/N) shakes her head frantically. "Since when did he want to take over Earth?!" (Y/N) exclaims loudly.

Dib did not want to talk to (Y/N), especially turning on him for his moral enemy Zim. How could he trust her? Zim could be hiding amongst the scene somewhere.

But the fear in (Y/N)'s eyes made it believable. He hadn't seen (Y/N) that scared in a long time. It was like the time Zim tried to erase her memory. Zim must have done or said something to her.

"Fine...I'll go unlock the door downstairs so you, YOU, can come in." Dib announced, making sure if a certain someone was around or not.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V

I have never been to the Membrane household. Dib would always asked for me to go over his house and do research with him, but I wasn't about that. I only saw Dib as a friend from school and a Zim know-it-all.

Dib opens the front door, waving me to come in. I thanked him and rushed in. Dib did a quick search from the door to see if Zim or someone was out there. I really hoped I wasn't being followed.

Dib told me to follow him upstairs to his room. As I did so I couldn't help but feel at ease knowing that I had some sort of protection from Zim. Even though Dib is mad at me for liking Zim, I know that he would always be there whenever I need him.

We eventually reach his bedroom. It was what you would expect to look like. A teenage guy's room but it's Dib's room. There were a lot of computers, cameras and TVs. I noticed the monitor on Dib's desk. There was a little sticky note that read 'Zim's Base.' It was turned off.

Dib sat on his bed and looked at me exhaustingly. "You can sit on my desk chair, if you want." I glanced over at the desk chair. Despite it looking somewhat comfy, it looked absolutely putrid. I decided to take a pass and sit on the carpeted floor. Dib shrugged his shoulders.

"Okay, so how didn't you not know that Zim wants to take over the planet? Didn't he tell you about it?" Dib inquires me. I shook my head. "Zim always told about how much he hates Earth. I always thought he came here to study humanity or something; not take over Earth." I admitted to Dib. He only nodded slowly. "Dumb little theory you got there, but whatever." Dib mutters as he placed his glasses on his face.

I silently cursed him out in my head.

"Zim told me about what he was tonight. He said that he is-"
"Irken, yeah I know already." Dib rudely interrupts me. I was starting to get impatient.
