Chapter 18: Missed You

I glanced over at Dib, who came rushing over to help Zim up. "I got him, now go find his PAK, quickly! He only has ten minutes until he dies!" Dib quickly urges to me. Zim groans against Dib. "(Y/N)..." Zim mutters against Dib. Dib looked like he was about to get sick. "Hey, maybe you should HURRY UP BECAUSE THIS IS TOTALLY WEIRD." Dib yells at me. With that I busted out the door, ignoring Mr. Unyen yelling at me.

We were up on the second level of the school and the window the PAK was thrown out of faced the front of the school. I had no idea how I was suppose to leave the school, get the PAK, and come back inside. I doubt they'll even let me back in. I could always make up so sort of excuse but these people that work here are dumb and would never believe me.

As I ran closer to the front doors, Toby, the guidance counselor aid and hall monitor, stops me. "Wheee where you going?" Toby asks me, slurring randomly. "I-" I had to quickly make up a excuse on why I needed to leave.

"My-uh- lunch box- fell out of the window and I need to go-"
"Are there cooookies?" Toby interrupts me.
"Uh sure, but I really need to go and get it! I'll be like five seconds." I beg to him. Toby nods, I swore I heard something inside his head shake. I run pass him and out the school doors.

The sky looked like it was not even doing me a favor. It looked like it was going to rain at any second. I wanted to cry at this point. How could things get any worse?
Oh they can get worse.

Toby follows me outside, arms hanging lose to the ground. "I follow for cookies." He said as I backed away from him. "No thanks." I laughed annoyed at Toby. I looked up at the window to see Dib watching me frantically. He looked like he was also searching the area where I was at. Dib then becomes ecstatic and points to a area. I look over and saw Zim's PAK in a bush...covered with spikey leaves.

"WOO HOO!" I yelled sarcastically as I made my way over to the bush. Toby copies me and follows. I was starting to become nauseas because he smells so bad. "Cook of the ies." Toby sings as I stick my arm into the bush to get the life source.

It hurt like hell getting this PAK but the pain was worth it. This is all for Zim. I would jump in front of a speeding car for Zim. I would do anything for Zim, even though he's evil and wants to take over my planet. That and he's mad at me.

I retrieved the PAK but before I could go, Toby stops me. "Cookies." He purrs, wiggling his eyebrows. I shook the PAK. "I didn't pack cookies today, sorry Toby." I said as Toby shook his head. "No, you have cookies."

It took me a minute until I figured out what he meant. He was talking about me!

I decided to stop conversation and run from Toby. I thought it would have been easy to get away from him, but he ran after me like a water buffalo. I was screaming at this point, I was hoping I'd make it back into the school.

Luckily for me, a janitor was taking the trash out. He was close to going back inside and I was close to the door. "WAIT!!" I yell at the janitor, whom looked scared. "Wah!" He yelps as he stands there holding the door for me.

I didn't look back as I kept running for the door. Eventually I made it and the janitor shut the door behind me quickly, making sure Toby wouldn't get in either. On the outside of the door, Toby made hyena like sounds, creeping my very soul out. I waited there for a few more moments until I heard Toby leave. I wasted no time to go back up to the classroom.

It was a easy journey but I knew what was about to happen could be not. Zim could live or die.

Dib opens the door for me and yells for me to get back in there quickly. I run back into the classroom to find the students surrounding something. I pushed the students out of the way, only to find Melvin drawing a picture of some anime girl. Of course these brainless fools couldn't care about Zim.
