Now let's continue with Gir's temper tantrum shall we?
😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
"Shhh it's okay! Gir! Please! STOP!"
I was attempting to calm Gir while he was having a tantrum but it wasn't going well. He was screaming and crying, knocking things off the wall.
Gir was running around with his metallic arms waving in the air. I saw this purple moose thing float in and yelled: "nyah" and floated away from the scene. "What is going on?" I cried out as Gir ran into me. I managed to grab onto the robot. He was still crying but became slightly more quiet. I petted his head, as if he were a human child. "Gir it's time to calm down." I quietly told him. He looked up with me with sad eyes and smiled. "Okay!" And with that he jumped out of my arms and waddled somewhere else.
I sighed as I laid on the floor tiredly. How does Zim put up with Gir? Speaking of Zim, the front door busted open, revealing a smoked Zim. "It HURTS!" Great another distressed being.
"What're you doing here?" Zim screams at me as I gave him a confused look. "Weren't we hanging out today or something? You wanted to see me after school." I told him hesitantly. "Plus you kinda ran off and I thought you would've been here."
Hearing the sizzles on his skin, he realized what I was talking about and nodded. "Gir! Fetch Zim a towel!" I called for Gir, hoping he would respond to me.
Zim walked over to me while trying to dry himself off as quickly as possible with his soaked gloves. He was in pain from the rain.
Gir came dropping from the sky with a dirty towel. Without even asking how he got there or asking why the towel was dirty, I grabbed it from Gir and rushed over to Zim drying him off. His whole uniform and wig was drenched. I blushed, thinking about asking Zim to take off his uniform but quickly shook the thought away. Why did I think these weird things?
"Hey Zim, your wig is soaked. You should take it off." I told him. He looked at me, getting ready to retaliate against my request but he actually listened to me and took off his wig. His antennas popped out when he took off his fake hair. I was boiling up.
I took the wig from him and placed it on the coat hanger that was nearby, letting it dry. Zim watched me closely.
"Why are you helping me?" Zim asked. That caught me off guard. This didn't seem like the type of question Zim would ask. I turned to him. He looked at me with curiosity.
Walking back over to him, I sat on the couch next to him. Zim was rubbing the towel on his arms. "Because, you are my friend." I told him truthfully. This made Zim gasp as he stood up. "Nobody is friends with me, Zim!" He shouted. This caused me to feel hurt. "Well maybe I want to be your friend! It's not everyday I meet a alien!" I argued. His antennas dropped as soon as I said that. Zim looked down.
It was silent for a few moments. "You want to be friends with Zim?" He questioned to me hurtfully.
I took a deep breath.
"Yes Zim...I want to be your friend." I answered him.
"Get out..." Zim sneered silently.
This cause my blood to turn cold.
"Wha-What?" I squeaked, hoping I heard the alien boy right.
"Get out. Get out!" Zim demanded as his face grimaced. It looked like he was about to cry.
"Zim please I'm sorry! I just wanted to-"
"LEAVE HUMAN! LEAVE ZIM ALONE!" Zim snapped at me as he turned from me. I heard a whimper coming from him causing my heart to ache. "Zim feels so confused! Please begone with you!" Zim bawled to me.
I felt guilty I was making this boy so emotional. Has Zim ever had friends before? I stood up and made my way over to him as I watched him tremble in agony. His antennas were shaking violently.
Instead of leaving Zim, I chose to give him a hug from behind. I heard the alien boy gasp and his claws scrape into the sofa he was sitting on. "(Y/N)-Human, what are you doing?" Zim asked me as I felt his body tense up. I wondered if Zim ever hugged anybody before. "It's called a hug, Zim. It's a gesture friends do to each other when they are happy or upset about something." I answered him. "I see," he mumbled, now his voice all scratchy.
Zim's breathing slowed down, which told me that Zim was calming down.
"It's okay Zim. It's been a long day. We can hangout if you want. Do you want to watch something on TV? Maybe Gir could make food or we can help him or whatever you want." I asked him. "Yes, you shall "hangout" with Zim." He tells me.
Beginning to feel awkward, I unwrapped my arms from him. Zim became confused and upset as he turned to face me quickly. "Why'd you leave? Aren't we friends?" Zim cried to me. I giggled at him as I returned to hug him. Zim took a deep breath and laid his head down on the armrest of the couch. "You will not leave until I say so." Zim orders me. Still holding him, I lifted my head up to look at him. "What?"
"We are doing this "hangout." This is what friends do, yes?" Zim asked as my face began to heat up. "Well I mean, kinda, I don't know." I stuttered as Zim started to laugh. "I find your cluttering of words entertaining human." Zim playfully smiles down at me. I shook my head in embarrassment. "I'm sorry. It's just something I tend to do." I admitted to him.
We laid like this for at least an hour. It ended abruptly when Gir tried joining in and Zim snapped at him. Our "hang out" was over. I was kinda okay with it and kinda not okay with it.
I've never hugged another boy before; actually scratch that, I've never hugged an alien before. Something about Zim made me feel weightless and warm. It felt, well, nice.
