Wait, wait so lemme get this straight, your mom overheard me too and and she knew that kathy probably overheard me too and she didn't say anything to try to change Kathy's mind?" Liz asked taking a bite of her scone.
"She didn't know that kathy was listening but she suspected that that was the case." Samantha explained.

"Ohh and your mom never met tyler?"

"Well... no of course not. Me neither his parents we too pleased with the idea of us being in a relationship at such a young age rememeber?" She asked liz.
"Oh yeah and they wanted you to end it when you told them you had a boyfriend." Liz replied.
"Yep and we kept our releationship a secret." Samantha put in.
"Yeah but samantha that doesnt change that fact that you two loved eachother so much, and now when you've finally found eachother again she wants you to give that up?" Liz said.
"Yeah. Liz when tyler and i broke up, she was so angry. She said that she told me this would happen and that it's a good thing he left me. She forced me to go to oxford and it worked out for the better. So maybe she's right about this too." Samantha said.

"No hunny she's not! How will tyler ever be happy if he marries someone he doesnt love?" Liz protested.

"I can't do that to kathy." Samantha replied.
"I'm not asking you to, just promise me you'll think about what i said?" Liz asked.
"Yeah.." Samantha said.
"Okay and i have something else to tell you!" Liz squeeled.
"Okay what is it?" Samantha asked smiling.
"Do you remember Alex kindle?" Liz asked.
"Yeah." Samantha said slowly.
"Well we are sorta dating!"
"What! You little witch! You didn't even say anything to me! I knew you two had a thing for eachother!" Samantha exclaimed.
"No you didnt!" Liz scowled playfully.
"Uh yes i did! It was so obvious!" Samantha added.
"So how did it happen? I mean as far as i remember the closest you got was senior prom. He asked you. But nothing happened right?" Samantha said.
"Yes something did happen! We kissed! I was gonna tell you the next day but then you and tyler broke up and i didnt know how. And three weeks later you left for college. I didn't wanna get you caught up with me when you needed to focus on you." Liz explained.

"Aww liz you should have said something. So you've been together since then?"

"Yeah well we broke up once about a year now. But we are going strong still!"

"Wow... i mean this is great! Liz I'm so happy for both of you!" Samantha exclaimed.

"Thanks sam." Liz smiled.

" Hey i have an awesome idea! Why dont we all hang out sometime?" Liz asked.

"Yeah i would love to meet Alex again. And are you still in touch with veronica and zac?" Samantha asked

"Yeah veronica and I actually stay in the same apartment building." Liz said.

"No way! This is great!" Samantha said.

"Yeah i told her that you were in town and has been dying to meet you ever since!"

"Awesome! I really wanna see again!"

"Then I'll tell her! And i think Alex has Zac's number! It'll be great! Like you know, the old crew together again." Liz said.

"Yes! I know!" Samantha squeeled.

Samantha, liz, veronica, tyler, Alex and Zac were bestfriends in highschool. They shared everything with eachother.

Tyler

"So Cheryl told Andrew  that kathy had some kind of problem with you?" Brandon said to tyler and he was paying for a drink. They were at a bar called "drinx" about 10 minutes away from Brandon's house.

"Uh yeah. There was a... misunderstanding" tyler said.

"Bruh you dont expect me to actually buy that do you?" Brandon said. "Cheryl said something about..." brandon leaned closer. "About how you and her cousin uh sam- samantha dated briefly in highschool?"

"Oh i thought kathy said she didnt want anyone to know about that." Tyler said taking a sip of his drink.

"Well what's going on?" Brandon asked.

" Samantha and I-" he began

"Wait is she the girl from highschool? The one you talked about all the time?" Brandon asked.

"Uh yeah she's the one." Tyler said running his hand through his hair.

"But you used to talk about her a lot. It doesn't seem like you only dated her briefly."

"Actually we dated for more than three years. Samantha lied to kathy ."

"Oh. Why tho? I mean if there's nothing going on with you two and there are no strings attached, why lie?" Brandon asked. "Unless..." brandon looked at tyler.

"You have to tell me!"

"I- we might have kissed once... or twice." Tyler admitted.

"What!?"

"Yeah, yeah we were going to tell Kathy that you know... that we still... you know what I mean. And then kathy overheard liz, one of our friends from highschool talking to Alex one of our other friends that samantha and I were together in highschool." Tyler explained. "And then kathy left that night and when Samantha and I found her, she didn't take it well. And she was crying and stuff and well Samantha just decided to tell kathy that our relationship was a short something that made no sense at all."

"Wow... I-I don't what to tell you bro. So you just went along with it?" Brandon asked.

"Yeah. If she doesn't want it. Then I'm not go around begging for her to be with me. She can to go hell." Tyler said cloldly.

"You're so cold." Brandon said.

"Forget all that, how's everything going with you and jasmine?" Tyler smirked at him.

Kathy

Kathy was the at her room hotel trying to make a few last mintute calls to invite some people.

"Yes you too aunt jenny. I'm glad you you'll be able to make it." She said then hung up.

"Hey hunny." Her mom said as she entered the room.

"Hi mom. I was finishing up a few last mintute invites." Kathy said.

"Oh. Kathy do remember the Harrison's?" Her mom asked.

"The Harrison's from Minnesota?" Kathy asked.

"Yeah remember how close we were?  You and their  daughter lilly used to play together all the time when you were kids." Her mom said.

"Yeah i know. Daddy talk to them regularly. Didn't he intvite them?" She asked.

"Yeah of he did. But lilly goes to some collage right here in New York. It would be nice for you to meet her and invite her personally. It'll be a great opportunity to catch up." Her mom smiled.

"Yeah. I think we could invite her over." Kathu said.

"Yeah that'll great because your father was telling me how they haven't talked to eachother in while."

"Its fine. I think i might have number." Kathy added.

"Alright then."

"K mom i have to meet nichole for dance practice. Bree and cheryl and are gonna be any minute
And tyler and guys are coming too. So I'll see you in bit." She said.

"Oh Kathy, what about Samantha? Isn't she dancing?" Her mom asked.

"No mom she doesnt have a dance partner." Kathy stated plainly.

"Oh well maybe instead of bree or cheryl you could give her a chance. She is your cousin after all."

"And they are my best friends mom. I can't just put out!" Kathy said feeling irritated.

"I know but what will she think?"

"Who Samantha? I dont know. And honeslty if she thinks anything, that is her problem." Kathy said.

"Kathy! What is wrong with you? Is everything okay with with you guys? Your acting really weird." Her mom said.

"Mom everything is fine. Samantha really doesn't mind." She replied grabbing her phone off the bed.
