catch me if i fall?

"Hey Jake..."
"uh hi Samantha," jake said through the phone
"Is everything okay? You sound off."
"I'm not feeling well do you mind if we take a raincheck?" Samantha said to him. "Yeah yeah of course, but are you okay?" He asked. "Yeah I'll be fine." She said. She then ended the call.
"Knock knock," kathy said as she opened the room door gently. "Hi kat!" Samantha yelled smiling. " How are you feeling?" She asked. "I feel great!" Samantha said. "Then why did you still cancel on Jake?" Kathy replied. "I just dont feel like going on a date right now. I like being single and alone. And when the right guy comes along I'll be ready." Samantha explained. "So how do you know Jake isn't the right one?" Kathy asked taking a seat next to Samantha on her bed. "He could be but remember i told that Jake handed me that drink? What if he's actually some crazy person who is obsessed with me?" Samantha said catching her breath. Kathy bursted into laughter, so did samantha. "Kat I'm just not in the mood okay?" She said. "Okay!" Kathy said smiling.

Samantha was bored sitting all alone in her room. Kathy and tyler were out shopping for wedding stuff and their parents were buying stuff for the picnic tomorrow. "I think I'll go to the mall." She said.
"Thanks." She said as she handed the money to the taxi driver. She went into American Eagle to check for some shoes. She was obsessed with shoes!
She saw a baby pink high heels with a stap across the toe area and another buckle across the ankle part. There wasn't a price tag so she turned to ask a salesgirl but she bumped into someone. Looking up, who she saw left her mouth wide open. "Oh my god!!!" The girl yelled. "Liz!" Samantha exclaimed. "Sam? What are  you doing here?" Liz asked. "My cousin's getting married!" She said. "I'm so happy to bump into you!" Liz said. "Me too! And please! You're invited to the wedding and all the other events!" Samantha told her. "And I'm not taking no for an answer." Liz and Samantha were best friends in high school. "So Kathy's getting married?" Liz asked. " yep!" Samantha said. "To who?" Liz asked. " This is where it gets weird... she's getting married to Tyler Smith," Samantha said. "What you mean your tyler?" Liz said. "No no he was never my tyler!" She said. "How did you let that happen?" Liz asked feeling confused. "Well kathy called me last week saying she was engaged and that the wedding is in a week, and I never saw the guy until last saturday!" She explained. "You must have gotten the shock of your life!" Liz said. "Yeah, that jerk doesn't deserve kathy!" Samantha said rolling her eyes. Are you sure or do you still have for the jerk?" Liz asked smirking. "You haven't changed a bit have you now liz!" Samantha laughed. "He hates me now, she said feeling sad and I'm not gonna get in the way of Kathy's wedding." She said. "I think we need to catch up over a cup of coffee!" Liz told her. "Yeah sure!" Samantha giggled.

"But liz, he left me cuz he wanted to go to collage all the way in Canada. And I told him, I told him that we could make it work, but he didn't want to listen. He just left without even trying to make it work." Samantha told liz before taking a sip of  her coffee. They stopped by a small coffee shop in the mall. "I know but he asked to go with him." Liz said. "And give up my dreams of oxford?" She said, "just so that he could make it?"
"We could have done long distance, we could have figured it out but from the minute I told him about the scholarship he said that it was over." Samantha went on. "Sam, he loved you more than anything, you know that!" Liz tried to reason with her. "He told me that I'm unrealistic and that i dont think of actual outcomes." She said. "He was always such a pessimist." Liz added. "Well it doesn't matter now, cuz kathy loves him and I am not getting in the way of that! Oh and not mention he hates me!" Samantha said.

Samantha dropped her bags of clothes and shoes in her hotel room before going to see kathy.
She knocked on the room door but there was no answer. So she decided to just go in. She heard a pipe in the bathroom so she assumed it was Kathy. " Kathu you'll never believe who i just ran into at the mall!" She said. When she turned around, she saw none other than tyler, in just a towel! His muscles and abs were popping, Samantha couldnt help but stare. But then she said "You! What are you doing here?" And She scowled. "What am I not allowed to be in my fiancee's room?" Tyler smirked. "You are just disgusting!" Samantha replied, feeling hurt. "Where's kathy?" She asked looking away. "That's none of your business," he replied taking a step closer to her. "Yes sh-she's my my cousin," Samantha replied, her heartbeat rate increasing as she took a step backward. "Too bad then, I'm not gonna tell you." He smirked evily as he took a step closer knowing he was intimidating her. "I-I-" Samantha began nervously, but before she had the chance to say anything else, she stepped on Kathy's hairclip and fell, luckly, tyler managed to stretch his hand out, holding back her hand. It was a secene from a movie, she looked into his eyes as he looked into hers, it lasted for a few minutes but then he looked away. He swiftly pulled her up causing her to almost fall foward. She tucked her hair behind her ears and left the room, her heart beat trembling. He stood there feeling his heart beat faster too, from being so close to her again.
