you again

scrambled eggs and a cake date.

Tyler

It was morning. He didn't get much sleep last night, for some reason he kept thinking about Samantha.

~two hours later~
Tyler and kathy met in a restaurant in the  hotel for breakfast. "Hey hun," she said as he kissed her on the cheek. "Hi kat." He replied. They both sat down. "I ordered you waffles and scrambled eggs." She told him. "Oh." He said trying his best to look pleased. "What?" She askes. "Nothing." He replied. "Lets eat." He said smiling. "So whats on the agenda for today?" He asked. "Well right after breakfast I have an appointment for my dress fitting, then I'll have to go sample wedding cakes and later I'll have to meet with the florist to check out flours." She told him. "Wow...  you have an entire day of things to do!" He said.  "Yeah and lets not forget the get together tonight." She added. "What's taking sammie long?" She said. "Samantha?" He asked. "Yeah she's joining us for breakfast." Kathy said smiling "oh great then." Tyler said sarcastically. Just then, samantha walked in. "Oh there she is!" Kathy said. "Hi kathy" samantha said. "Hi sammie, i orded toast and  an omelette for you. Is that okay?" Yeah that's perfect she said as she sat down. She quickly glanced at tyler to fine him looking at her, then he looked away. The waitress arrived and served them. "Pancake and bacon for a Ms kathy?" The waitress asked. "Yep thats me!" Kathy said. "french toast and an omelette for Ms Samantha and scrambled eggs with waffles for Mr tyler." The pretty waitress said. "Scrambled eggs? You hate that." samantha said laughing, when she realised what she said, she bit her lip and bent her head down, realizing what she jusy said out loud. Tyler looked at her with a surprised expression. "What, babe you dont like scrambled egges?" Kathy asked. "Wait Samantha you know about this?" She then asked. "I guess you guys were better friends than i thought." Kathy said smiling. "I'm happy that that two of the most important people in my life get along." She added. "Samantha and tyler looked at eachother then looked back at kathy and smiled. "For some reason i thought you two wouldn't get along mainly cuz you believe so much in fantasies sammie, and well your more of a realist tyler, but i guess i was wrong, it turns you guys are better friends than i thought." Upon hearing this they both felt very awkward. "We went to highschool together kat, we weren't even friends." Tyler said looking away feeling uncomfortable. "Well how does sammie know so much about you silly!" Kathy said. "I learned it from my friend who was really in love with tyler at that time." Smantha lied. "Ring, ring" Kathy was getting a call. "Hello? No- but you can't-, yes i know your busy but i have other things i need to do as well...." Kathy said into the phone. After a long pause she replied, "okay I'll have to think of something, but this is really unprofessional." And with that she hung up. "Whats the matter kathy? Who was it?" Samantha asked. "It was the cake place." She said "is everything okay?" Tyler asked. " they pulled up our appointment to sample the cake. Apparently they're booked for  by some million dollar company to provide the staff with cake for the boss's 50th birthday and they need to start preparing from today." She explained. "And my dressing fitting is happening this morning. If only i could be in two places at once." She sighed. "Oh what am i gonna do?" She said as she buried her face in her hands. "Its okay kathy we'll think of something." Samantha told her. "Wait! I have an idea, sammie you go to take pictures of the cake and bring back small samples of the ones you think I'll like and I'll call them later and let them know which i like best." Kath said. "Yeah sure!" Samantha said. "Oh and ty you'll go with her too. You're the groom your choice matters as well." Kathy told him. "That won't be necessary kat." Tyler said. "Yeah besides its the bride who'll eat most of the cake" Samantha added. "Says who?" Kathy said. "Me! I dont like cake kat. I really dont care about the flavours." Tyler put in. He didnt want to go but not because he didnt care about the cake but because he didn't want to go there with Samantha! And she didn't wanna go there wanna go there with him. "Stop it both of you!" Kathy said. " Tyler and Samantha you both are going, and thats final!" Kathy exclaimed. They both knew she must be serious becuase when she addressed people by their full names, it was always serious! "Okay! Kat! Calm down!" Samantha said. "We'll go." Said tyler. "Good! Thats more like it!" Kathy said smiling in her normal, bright, cheery voice. "Now! Get goin."
