It was finally the big day, the day everything was going to end, the day that would change everything... it was the wedding day! Finally the day came. Samantha didn't sleep all night last night. She spent most of the time crying. It was only 6:00... eight more hours until the ceremony. She decided to leave her room and go down to the restaurant.
She ordered some coffee and paid the cashier and proceeded to sit down by a table in the corner with a view over looking the ocean. She noticed Tyler sitting down on the table next to her's. He looked terrible! His eyes were bloodshot red. She bit her lips and contemplated on whether or not to say aything. As soon as he noticed her, he got up to leave.
"Wait," she called.
"What the heck do you want?" He almost yelled as he turned around to her, face to face.
"Can we- can we make things better between us? Before I leave?" She asked. I just wanna leave things on a good note. He is going to be Kathy's husband. We need to get along for her sake. And I also would feel better knowing that we made peace, even if we arent together... She thought to herself.
His reactions surprised her.
He chuckled at first but then he became as serious as she had ever seen him. He looked at her from head to toe, trying to figure out what was going on in her mind, but he couldn't.
He was still a little drunk from last night, since he didnt get much sleep so that probably made him do what he did next.
He trailed his fingers gently up her arm making her get goosbumps. He continued to trail it along her neck, causing her to shiver and then right to her chin which he lifted abruptly with his thumb finger making her eyes look directly at his. She felt weak, unable to oppose anything he was doing. She let him have control, blocking out her consciousness and her senses. He then brought his face closer to her's. She was expecting another kiss, but instead his lips went to her ears, slightly touching them.
"You broke things beyond repair." He whispered. Tears formed in her eyes as her heart sunk but she knew she had to be strong. She couldn't cry infront of him again.
He backed away leaving her standing there, and again... she watched as he walked away.

A few hours later, samantha was checking with the caterers and doing other last minute things.
"Bling!" A notification on her phone popped up.
It was from kathy.
Meet me in my room! EMERGENCY.
Okay I'll be right there. She texted back.
"Is everything okay?" She asked as she entered Kathy's room. There were two girls and one man in the room. The man looked like he was in his early thirties and he was busy curling Kathy's hair, while the other two girls were applying make up.
When kathy noticed her presence in the mirror, she got up from the chair. She was wearing a fluffy white robe.
"No! Nothing's okay!" She yelled.
"Calm down and tell me what's wrong," samantha replied.
"The heel on my shoe broke!" Kathy blurted.
"What?" Samantha said tiredly
"What do you mean what!?" Kathy snapped.
"Kathy, it's just shoes. I could go out and get you another pair." She said
"Now?" Kathy asked.
"Yes you and I are basically the same size. I'll just make a quick run to mall and find something suitable." Samantha replied.
"Okay." Kathy agreed.
"Sammie are you okay?" Kathy asked noticing samantha's tired, dull look.
"Yeah. Why?" Samantha asked forcing a smile.
"You just look off." Kathy said
"I'm okay hun. And I need to leave now." Samantha replied.
