Hanji's POV

My fingers slowly massaged my temples when the results came back. I don't understand why these symptoms of pregnancy are already affecting me. Levi wasn't awake yet, and I quickly drove down to the city to get a few things before he woke up. Now... I was just hanging in the bathroom with the tester on the counter. How it showed positive bright and alarming. I told him that he would always be the first one to be notified... but-

"Oi... Hanji..." He bangs gently on the bathroom door, jiggling the doorknob. "You okay in there?"

"Y-Yeah! I-I'm fine..."

"Wanna let me in so I can do my business?" He stopped jiggling the handle, leaning against the door with a heavy sigh. "Or should I go to the other room and use that bathroom. Come on, you can't be looking that bad..."

I sighed, grabbing the tester and unlocking the door. Time to explain it to him... "Levi..."

"I don't like that tone of voice... what happened?" He pushed me gently, looking at me with his quick moving eyes. Examining me like it was something physical. "Hanji, you okay? You're not acting like your usual self..."

My legs began to shake as I tried to stutter out the words. Soon enough, it buckled and Levi caught me. I pushed him back as I collided with him. He whispers my name so softly, I nuzzled my head into his chest. "Levi... I'm pregnant..." He was silent for awhile, probably trying to overcome the wave of emotion. "I-I think it was either from... 3 days ago... maybe 5? Definitely not from last night."

His stern hands crawled up my back, pulling me deeper into his body. "Pregnant... huh? Seems like your plan to be part of the band is postponed for awhile."

"I hate it... but I want the baby... so I can't get... let it go."

Levi kissed my lips, groaning heavily. "I promise, I'll make everything up to you. Wanna go and tell your friend about your little surprise? No puns intended, of course."

"The only little thing around here is you- gah! Levi!" I screamed, giggling loudly as he grips me, pulling me further from the bathroom. "No! Mercy! Mercy!" He began to attack me with his kisses, leading me to the bed. "Levi!"

"I need you away from the bathroom so I can do things." He growls softly, giving me one last kiss before he escaped to the bathroom. The locks clicked heavily in place. "You can go and tell Nanaba about it, if you want."

"I will. Hurry it up so we can leave."

"Mind telling me why Levi's inside getting us drinks instead of him staying here while we get them?" Nanaba asks, tapping her fingers rapidly against the glass table. Cool air fell on us, and I shivered a bit. "Hey girl, you good?"

A smile crept on my face, and a soft chuckle was arising inside of me. "Nanaba, want to hear some... good news?"

"Oh god, don't tell me-"

"I'm pregnant."

If this place was any emptier, I think there would be tons of people staring at Nanaba. Her reaction was just... mind-blowing. She gasped so loudly, a few stares landed on her. All except Levi. I bet there was a soft grin on his face. "P-Pregnant?! N-No way!"

"It's true. Found out this morning."

"You don't have that pregnancy blush though! Ugh, my fantasies are ruined." She laid her head down in her arms, pretending to cry. "When I wish I was pregnant... you're pregnant... and you don't have the glow! How disappointing pregnancy is!"

Once more, I chuckled. "Nanaba, I think I was a pregnant a week ago. So yeah, I may feel some symptoms, but not all of them. Bet the glow will come soon... just not now."

She rose her head, chuckling softly. "Man... now I wish Miche and I would move that quickly."

"Oh? You guys got together already? Shame... I didn't see it happen. Too busy... grieving over... yeah, anyways... how are things at work? Erwin's... he moved on, didn't he?"

Her hand covered her mouth, almost like she didn't want to continue the gossip. "Well..." She sighed, removing her hand. "He's... desperate for you still. He keeps asking me how you're doing, and I tell him that you're fine. Nothing about Levi. I swear. I kept my lips sealed about that."

I nodded, taking it in. "So... no word about that woman he was with?"

"He denies it ever happened."

"Jerk."

Nanaba smiled and nodded her head. "Yeah he is a jerk. Lying straight to my face. I believe you, Hanji. But the way he's making it... he's making you sound crazy. Weird how he wants you back after his little... fiasco."

I shrugged my shoulders, rubbing my hand on my non-existent baby bump. "Well... he's never getting me back. Betrayed my trust and faith in him. He can watch me have a family with Levi."

Her hands slowly reached out towards me, and she smiled softly. "Don't move too quickly, else you'll be swept away in this wave of chaos. Oh, and can I be the aunt of the baby? Pretty please?"

"Of course you can, Nana."

"What are you two agreeing on?" Levi says in nearly a cold tone. He sets down our smoothies, sitting next to me when he was done handing it out. His arm wrapped around my body, planting a kiss on my cheek. "So? What's going on?"

Blushing, I pulled my hair back from behind my ears and smiled gently towards him. "Approval that Nanaba's gonna be the aunt of our child. Got any problems with that?"

"None at all."

Nuzzling into him, I groaned softly. My hand lazily reached out to the smoothie, and I weakly held it to my mouth. Nanaba chuckled at my actions, and Levi just rolled his eyes. I could hear him saying, "Just another normal day." Constantly, I thought about the baby over and over. Now Levi was being a father... how many other titles must he be awarded? I wonder how much he'll accumulate by the time he's old.
