Levi's POV

After getting the ultrasound of the baby- Hanji was silent the whole time down to the car. The silent treatment was just... annoying to me. Occasionally, she would give me this deadly stare as she rubbed her 7-month-old baby bump. When I tried to acknowledge it, she would look away and pretend like it didn't even happen. She was playing me, and I don't even know why she was doing such a thing like that.

Giving into her, I sighed and began to speak out to her. "Hanji, why are you giving me this cold shoulder?"

Her glares were just shooting at me. "Why? Why? I believe it's your fault."

"My fault? How is it my fault?"

She rolled her hazel eyes, sighing heavily. "Well... you're the one that got me pregnant with twins! Both of them girls! Ahh... the chaotic mess..."

For some reason, my cheeks grew warm, yet my heart wanted me to continue to tease her. "Me? My fault? I thought we both wanted daughters. And plus, isn't it the mother's fault that they received twins? Not just the father?"

Hanji didn't push me too badly, but she did it in a small fit of anger.

"Why are you getting so mad about it?"

"Because we have to get them extra cribs, toys, more love and care-"

"Shh..." I kissed her lips, chuckling softly. "We can get through it. Besides, why would I favor one child over the other? I love them equally. Just like I love you. Just don't hold a grudge on me. Since we're gonna go back shopping for another crib... you hungry for pancakes for lunch? I know you have a pancake craving every once in awhile."

Her anger seemed to be replaced with joy. Of course, her smile and that twinkle in her eyes demonstrated how elated she was. "Strawberry and banana pancakes? Yes please!"

"Alright... buckle up, Hanji. You're eating for 3 now."

Breakfast for lunch began to pass, and we went shopping for more baby stuff. Her cries for her babies' desires were unstoppable. "Aww~! We can give one of the girls this toy!" She says as she held up a white tiger stuffed animal. Her eyes just gleamed brightly for it. Then her attention began to shorten as her eyes caught on another toy. "Oh oh! This one for the other twin!" She says with a white wolf.

"Hanji... calm down." I say with a smug chuckle in my throat. "They're not gonna get the toys until after they're born. Also... they can't have them in their cribs. You gave me a 10-minute lecture on how to care for the babies on the ride to here. You gotta have their own separate toy boxes- which they're not old enough for."

I watched her hazel eyes darted between them- and she tossed them into the shopping cart. That's when she gave me her mischievous smile. "Oh... I just want to ensure they have a wide selection of toys when they get older."

How could I say no to her? I mean, I can. But... is it worth it? No. No it's not. From the toys selection, she went off to the baby clothes. That's when she squealed about seeing those onesies. Her eyes were immediately towards the purple and blue ones.

"Levi, Levi, Levi!"

"Again? Hanji, 2 more months!"

"I can't wait though!"

Again, she had to throw the clothes into the cart. I didn't want to argue with her. She just gave me that smirk and continued to walk away. Part of me wanted to scream that she was buying too much stuff... but this was our very first chance being parents. I wanted her to run wild first before she gets tied down with the twins.

"Oh oh! Levi!!!"

I rolled my eyes, slowly going towards her. "What is it this time?"
