You and Atago had spent most of the time in the shrine just appreciating each other's company. You really haven't seen Akagi or Kaga at all since you've been there, which was strange knowing that they were supposed to be guiding you originally.
Atago had left your side to go pray to her gods, leaving you with your thoughts for a few moments.

Whittman: Weren't Akagi and Kaga supposed to be here...? (looking around for any tell tale signs of their presence, but none were found so you pass it off as them losing interest.)

Akagi and Kaga's Pov]

Akagi and Kaga both arrive under a enormous yet graceful sakura tree where the leaders of Sakura Empire reside to contemplate and decide important matters.)

Akagi and Kaga both show their respect to Nagato)

Nagato: I assume you have news on your project?

Akagi: Yes, but we have pressing matters to discuss. (a smile forms on Akagi's face)

(Nagato's expression changed from one of understanding to worry)

Nagato: What information is it? (her eyes squinting in questioning manner)

Akagi: Ironblood, they appear to have the technology to make some of the rarest ships known today. The first ever male ship, they have christened the KMS Whittman.

Nagato: Impossible, male ships would bring terrible luck upon their names. We have always remained female in our builds and stature, how could Ironblood make such a ship, much less know how to control them?

Kaga: We do not have that information at this moment, but the ship Akagi has mentioned is here at the Sakura Empire.

Nagato: Why was I not informed of this earlier?

Akagi: They are unstable in aspects of their mind, and were taken to the shrines by Atago. Atago is not in any immediate danger, I can promise you this.

Nagato is troubled by the news, but is very curious to know how this was all possible)

Nagato: Bring me this KMS Whittman, I believe the answers I seek lie with him.

Akagi and Kaga both leave to find Whittman)

Whittman's pov}

You were looking at some paintings on the walls trying to understand their meaning. your eyes pan the wall until you see the story it holds about ancestors long since passed, you somehow understand what is saying to you.)

Whittman: Hmmm, some things are better left alone. (you turn away from the wall)

(you feel you hand clench into a fist, you could feel a hostile presence getting near. You knew it was a siren, no other feeling in the world compares to it.)

Nachtwächter & Gefräßigkeit begin to take their forms, both eager for a new hunt. You run out alerting Atago who just finished her prayers, the sky filled with storm clouds with lightning snaking across the sky.)

(A crooked grin creeps on your face under the mask, it was time to show the Sakura Empire and the Sirens who you were.)

[thoughts]

Whittman: [no more shall those who have wronged me know peace, all shall know a hunter never loses their prey!)

(You bound down the steps of the shrine with relative ease, avoiding any collisions with other ships and small shrines.)

Atago's pov)

Atago is standing at the entrance of the shrine, confused and fearful or what Whittman might do she follows)
